Today we release a full, in-depth update to the 2026 class. This update will have the class holding at the Top 175, with the next expansion coming in late spring. Below we highlight a few players that our staff had an opportunity to gather evaluations on this fall.

While the top three remain the same, there is some small movement behind Dierks in the #3 spot. We have two new faces moving into the Top 10 from just outside, as well as a handful of new faces that have moved into the Top 50.

+ Drew Christine - St. John's College HS - LHP - Tennessee

The 2024 Future Games alum moves up five spots from #11 to #6. While the growth has been slow and steady, it is still easy to see the upside to the Volunteer commit. Fairly normal effort delivery, clean arm action, and room to add strength to the wiry frame. Christine mostly operates in the mid 80's and will run an occasional 87-88. While the sweeping breaking ball varies in velo, ranging from upper 60's to mid 70's, the feel has improved and is turning into a legitimate out pitch. There is a history of Cadets arms having a slower, gradual rise with more focus on development over quick early jumps. Christine seems to be yet another example of this and has a chance to be a big piece of the SJC staff this year and next.

+ John Michael Szefc - Miller School - SS - Louisiana Lafayette

Szefc, another 2024 Future Games alum, has made his ascent into the Top 10. The Miller School middle infielder moves up five spots to #9 in this most recent update. The Ragin' Cajun commit is arguably the best pure hitter in the state, regardless of class. Balance, approach, recognition, and as clean of a swing path from the left side that you would want to see. There athleticism is average, probably more second base defensive profile, but he is a versatile bat with a high quality contact rate and a knack for the barrel that you do not see often in high school hitters.

+ Corey Overmeyer - Grafton - 1B/RHP

Overmeyer is a big riser inside the Top 100. He is a solid athlete for a player of his physical makeup, standing 6-foot-5, 194-pounds. The Grafton right hander most recently made a big impression at the Mid-Atlantic State Games a few weeks ago. Above average positional arm strength and runs well enough to offer some versatility as more of a 1B/RF/LF future positional projection. Above average hand speed at the plate and can generate some power to the middle and pull. On the mound, Overmeyer works from a higher slot and leverages downhill. It is a quick whippy arm action, works with intent, and has shown feel for a big 12/6 breaking ball. The 6-foot-5 right hander has been up to 88 mph on multiple occasions and could be a major factor for the Clippers this spring.
