Team Previews are generated through a mixture of coaches' responses gathered through our perennial coaches questionnaires, as well as insight from Prep Baseball Staff. Stay tuned the next several weeks for the unveiling of Team Previews and the complete Power 25.

Coaches Outlook: "The Jaguars look to build on a top 4 finish from a year ago. It was the first final 4 finish in the school's history. The Jaguars return most of their pitching staff from 2024 team. Staying healthy will be the key. Our best chance to make a run like the 2024 team is can get timely hitting to match our pitching and defense." - Marc Linn, head coach

Overall Summary

North Creek enters the 2025 season with high expectations after a 4th place finish in 4A state last spring. Though many key bats from their state tournament run graduated, few teams can boast the depth of arms that the Jaguars should put out. Junior Kody Moyer headlines the arms, returning after posting a remarkable 0.74 ERA in 57 innings in 2024. Senior Dominic Wilson had an incredible last season of his own, posting a 1.57 ERA in 49 innings pitched. Jack Cochran also logged over 40 innings for the Jaguars last season and will be solid depth returning. Senior Cayden Christopherson is a core part of the team, both as a reliever and as a middle of the order bat manning third base. Catcher Ethan Swallom is another lineup piece that seems to improve with each look, and is one of the better defensive catchers around as well. Brady Miller brings playoff experience to man center field in his senior season as well. North Creek has a gauntlet of a schedule both in and out of conference, including early season matchups with O'Dea and Kennewick. The Jaguars should once again be led by their pitching and make noise in the 4A division.
