Overall Summary

Though Rogers finished the '24 season in the middle of the SPSL standings, Prep Baseball is extremely high on their potential this spring. The Rams are led by arguably the best duo of infielders in the state in Washington commit '25 Ian Draper and Lower Columbia commit '25 Martyn Hernandez. Draper is the 12th ranked player in the '25 class and has some pop at the plate to go along with solid third base defense. Hernandez is the vocal leader of the squad, with plus bat to ball skills alongside being one of the best defensive shortstops around. A pair of high-end arms will also headline the pitching staff in '25 RHP Coltyn Clark and '26 RHP Talan Robertson. Both are power arms that return after leading the team in innings a season ago. Depth will be a question for Rogers this spring, but junior John Williams and senior Curtis Eby will be other staples in the lineup. Talented sophomore arm Anthony Solorio is an underclassman to watch, with plenty of arm talent in limited action last spring. Rogers will face tough competition in the SPSL in addition to interesting non-conference games with Skyview and Kentwood early on. Expect the Rams to improve on their record from a season ago and make serious noise in the 4A state playoffs.
