Overall Summary

Olympia enters 2025 as one of several SPSL sides that made the Preseason Power 25 rankings. Though the Bears will face tough competition all season, they'll be led by the 8th ranked senior in the state and UW commit RHP/SS Trace Pruitt. Pruitt is one of the most dominant arms on the mound and a big time power bat at the plate. Fellow senior OF/LHP Lincoln Berg is the another key player on both sides of the baseball. The Lower Columbia commit is a bona fide gamer that can impact the field in a variety of ways. Junior RHP Travis Kunkel returns after logging important innings last spring, and is an arm to watch with his fastball in the mid to upper 80's. Another junior to circle is Rylan Holmberg, who returns after hitting in the top part of the lineup down the stretch last season. Depth may be a question for the Bears this spring, but players such as Silas Duerre and Brayden Cheeka are players that could see larger roles moving forward. Olympia's matchups this spring are highlighted by conference bouts with Puyallup, Sumner and Rogers. The Bears should once again be a solid team with upside in 2025.
