HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Corbin Carroll, OF, Lakeside HS, WA (UCLA)
Josh Mears, OF, Federal Way HS, WA (Purdue)
Carter Young, IF, Selah HS, WA (Vanderbilt)

OTHERS TO WATCH: RHP Nate Weeldreyer (Auburn Mountainview HS, WA) might be trending up some draft boards, especially after his 19 strikeout, no-hit performance in front of nearly two dozen scouts in mid March. The Purdue signee has been up to 92 with his fastball and sports a durable frame. LHP Brock Jones (W.F. West HS, WA) is another arm to keep an eye on as the draft approaches thanks to his advanced pitchability and feel for his breaking ball. OF Cole Hinkelman (Skyline HS, WA) and 1B Henry Gargus (Davis HS, WA) are two of the more physical bats in the state. Another local product who could be joining Hinkelman and Gargus in a Stanford uniform next season is SS Owen Cobb (Garfield HS, WA). Cobb is a lean, athletic SS with next-level defensive actions and an offensive game that continues to show improvement. Lastly, another power bat to keep an eye on is 1B Will Simpson (Skyline HS, WA) who tandems with Hinkelman to create one of the most formidable lineups in the state. The Washington State recruit has had a consistent senior season for himself offensively with an uptick in power production lately. RHP Will Armbruester (Eastside Catholic HS, WA) has quietly been a consistent performer throughout the spring. The New Mexico recruit was recently up to 91 with his fastball and held his velocity at 88-90 into the seventh inning.
