Washington 2026 Rankings Spotlight: Newcomers

Recently, PBR Washington concluded our three week stretch of summer rankings updates, unveiling player lists for three different high school classes. Lists were updated after getting looks of prospects at PBR Summer ID events, Scout Days, and our first ever PBR PNW State Games.
For the 2026 class specifically, the rankings list saw many changes throughout, as well as expansion of the overall list to 130 prospects.

Today, we highlight three players that are making their 2026 rankings debut after attending a PBR Washington event.
Newcomers
Bode Webb 1B / OF / Mount Vernon, WA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 93 / POS: 2
Stocky, physical prospect with 6'2 frame. LH stance with balanced base and hands stacked horizontally over rear shoulder. Short stride, uses powerful levers to generate plus batspeed through the zone. High intent swings with some shoulder tilt present. Strong through contact with two-hand finish. Makes the routine play at 1B, fielding consistently at center of base. Compact, over-top quick fire release across the diamond. |
Ashton Bergman OF / LHP / Henry M. Jackson, WA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 112 / POS: 24
Compact framed lefthander with two-way talent. At the plate, LH setup features tall, narrow base with little pre-pitch movement. Hands extended away from body. Toe-tap load as hips lead way. Firm front side at contact, creates leverage with a strong two-hand finish. Finds the barrel consistently. Positional versatility at 1B and the OF, with athleticism suited for a corner. On the mound, LH arm features quick paced delivery. Long arm action with plus scap retraction and a low, loose gloveside follow. Lower 3/4 slot release gives natural run to FB. CH/CB combination to pair. |
Bodie yale RHP / OF / Eastmont, WA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 126 / POS: 37
Athletic 6'0 frame with two-way talent. At the plate, features RH stance with hands close to body in stance. Low leg hover load with short, quick hand path to ball. Stays short-to-long throughout with smooth one-hand finish. Impressive bat and hand speed metrics. Natural mover in the outfield, high-pointing fly balls. Oftentimes uses two hand catch with quick transfer to throw. Momentum carries through, helping generate plus arm strength. RH arm on the mound works from 1B side of the rubber. Controlled paced delivery with high slot release. FB topped out at 84.4 MPH with two distinct breaking balls as secondary offerings. Solid all-around game. |
