At The Top

#1 2026 RHP Eli Herst (Seattle Academy/Vanderbilt)
The righthander maintains the top spot in the rankings for the third consecutive list, capping off a monster 2024. After a standout performance at Prep Baseball's Future Games, Herst was the lone 2026 invite from the Pacific Northwest at the Prep Baseball All-American Game, solidifying his status as one of the top arms in the country. Herst checks all the boxes with a long-limbed 6'4 frame, an impressive pitch arsenal, an imposing and confident demeanor, and a mental aptitude to continue polishing his game on the mound. Herst became the second recent Vanderbilt commit out of the Pacific Northwest and will certainly be a must-follow in 2025.

From 8/21/24... "Herst started day one of the Scout Games strongly, breezing through his three innings of work. Mixed in FB/SL/CH combination throughout with an occasional sinker as well. FB sat 87-89 with plenty of room for more strength and velocity. Gets down the mound with exceptionally long, lean 6'4 190 pound frame. Smooth, controlled finish with tucked gloveside follow. Clear mound prescence and an aura of confidence. Continues to develop, will be an exciting follow moving forward as one of the premier arms in the class."

#2 2026 RHP Bryce Collins (Kelso/Mississippi)
Another Prep Baseball Future Games attendee, Collins stays at the number two spot for the second consecutive rankings update after a strong overall summer showing. The righty showed a consistent quality in his arsenal during multiple looks over the summer, including the PNW Scout Games and Area Code Games in August. These standout performances earned Collins a recent commitment to the University of Mississippi, a powerhouse SEC baseball program. Collins remains near the top of what is an impressive class of arms in Washington.

From 8/7/24... "Fastball sat in the upper 80's with life. Split sat 77-78 with 1033 RPM, Slider in the low 80's with a peak at 2440 RPM. Low-pulse look with clean arm stroke & 3 for strikes. Splitty flashed plus with diving life with real whiff potential. Plus feel."

#3 2026 RHP/INF Christopher Moore (Kentlake/Washington)
The Washington commit has been a long-time staple at the top of the state rankings, due in part to his sound two-way ability. Moore was the 2024 3A NSPL MVP in the spring, hitting over .480 and posting an ERA just over 1. The righty was also a standout arm at the first-ever Pacific Northwest State Games in Vancouver this summer, flashing several tools on both sides of the baseball. Though it remains to be seen whether Moore sticks on the mound or in the field long-term, he will surely continue to dominate through his final two years of high school baseball.

From 8/9/24... "Strong, medium framed righty had a solid showing. Impressive BP rounds, was under control with easy hand speed. Averaged 89.4 MPH exit velo. Different look on the mound, with a lower slot and slight cross-body action. FB sat in the mid 80's, partnered with a SL as his best secondary flashing spin rates north of 2500 RPM. Makes the routine play at SS as well, arm suggests a long term stick on the left side as a position player."

New Additions

#95 2026 RHP Braylon Edwards (Richland)
Edwards showed well in Ridgefield this October, earning a debut in the rankings list. Lean strength present in 6'1 frame. Works from abbreviated wind with quick pace from center of the rubber. Slightly closes hips with lead leg land. Long, loose hand break, some deception with high back elbow starting arm action to throw. Featured three pitch mix with FB/CH/SL. FB released from 3/4 slot, giving natural arm side run and sitting 81-83 MPH. CH flashed as strongest secondary with heavy sink as well.

#99 2026 C Larson Kohlmann (Eastlake)
The backstop showed added strength and continued development at the recent Prospect U Scout Day in November. The arm and defensive actions lead the way currently, as the junior flashed a 1.96 pop with 77mph throws to second base. The bat shows real potential when on time, with the added physicality contributing to a 93.6 MPH peak exit velocity. Kohlmann should be in line for increased playing time this spring and could be poised for a breakout high school season.

#110 2026 RHP Jayden Bury (Woodinville)
Bury is another debutee thanks to a strong showing this fall, throwing a bullpen at the Seattle Fall ID in October. The medium framed righty fills up the zone with a three pitch mix. Both the fastball and changeup showed natural sinking action, and the slider played well from an identical arm slot. Mechanically, Bury showed repeatability throughout his delivery, using his lower half well with a clean arm action. With plenty of room to grow into his 5'10 frame, Bury should continue to develop as an arm.
