At The Top

#1 2028 RHP/INF/C Madden Pike (Puyallup)
The latest talent to attend Puyallup High School is a standout all-around ballplayer with loud tools shown at the national level. Playing with a noticable confidence to his game, the 5'10 prospect stands out with his ability to switch hit, defend well at a variety of positions, and run his fastball into the upper 80's on the mound already. Pike will be in attendance at the Prep Baseball Pacific Northwest Preseason All-State event this February.

Pike's greatest value is currently seen on the mound, The righthander features an easy-effort, fluid delivery from the stretch position. His 3/4 slot release can give some run to a fastball that mostly sits in the mid 80's, but has been seen up to 87-88 MPH. Pike has also shown big time trust in his slider, maintaining consistent arm speed and the ability to throw the pitch even when behind in counts.

At the plate, the switch-hitter stays remarkably consistent mechanically on both sides of the plate. A line drive/fly ball oriented approach, Pike can extend to meet the ball out front when ahead in counts, and when behind in counts let the ball travel to hit to the opposite field as well. Defensively, his natural athleticism plays all over the diamond, but will likely stick in the middle infield or at catcher through his high school years. Pike will be a must-follow moving forward.

#2 2028 INF/RHP Lincoln Moore (Kentlake)
The talented 6'2 two-way athlete impressed in multiple looks in 2024, first seen at the Seattle Preseason ID - Session II and later at the Junior Future Games. The metrics stand out across the board, with a lean, athletic frame that should only continue to grow stronger and faster. Top metrics include a 7.01 second 60-yard dash time, a fastball up to 83.6 MPH, and a max exit velocity of 91.6 MPH with plus bat and hand speed.

Moore features a strong, balanced setup at the plate, with a high-intent approach from the right hand side. He works a short hand path with some loft and a firm front side at contact to drive the ball in the air. The ability to stay under control yet accelerate with force through contact stands out, with a two-hand finish to the swing. Defensively, Moore can easily stick at shortstop with quickness and fluidity present for his size. Showcases soft hands and a quick transfer to throw when needed.

On the mound, the righty features a steady tempo delivery from the full wind with a repeatable operation. Moore sinks deep into his lower half post-stride and extends downhill well. The low-slot release at delivery can give added life to his fastball, with a sweepier slider to pair. Moore is an exceptionally well-rounded prospect that should be a major force in years to come.

#3 2028 C/INF/RHP Collin McGowan (Battle Ground)
One of several high-end prospects to come out of Battle Ground High School in recent years, McGowan's physicality and polish to his game stand out at this point. The 6'2 athlete showed two-way ability at the Pacific Northwest Fall ID this October. From running a 7.25 second 60, to posting a max exit velocity of 94 MPH, to running his fastball up to 84 MPH, McGowan's tools flash in a loud way across the board.

The bat currently leads the way for McGowan, with the physicality translating to some of the louder offensive metrics in the class. The righty has a quiet setup with an explosive trigger to swing, with a loose, whippy one-handed finish. The power stroke consistently hammered balls deep into the LCF gap, staying on time and on balance. Always on the barrel with an 87 MPH average exit velocity as well as plus bat and hand speed. Defensively, McGowan's athleticism allows for versatility, moving well for his size behind the plate and in the infield.

McGowan worked from the abbreviated wind on the bump this fall, showcasing a four pitch mix. The delivery featured steady tempo with a controlled deceleration and high 3/4 slot release. The fastball consistently sat 83-84 MPH, with a CH/CB/SL offspeed combination. Showed the ability to locate the change to the arm side consistently, and had sharp downward breaking action on the curveball. Another highly skilled freshman that will be a must-follow.

Prospects to Watch

Three pitch mix on the mound, can run the FB up to 80 MPH.

#16 2028 OF Tyler Long (Eastside Catholic)
Compact-framed JFG alum with quickness and twitch. Tight lefty swing starts in open stance, staying tight with whippy barrel path. Posted a peak exit velocity of 87.6 MPH. Right-handed glove has quick first step, attacking balls in the outfield and fielding over lead leg well. Carries momentum through with over-top slot throws up to 79 MPH. Ability to impact game with speed and athleticism.

#28 2028 OF/RHP Kameron Diederichs (Kennedy Catholic)
Highly athletic player in 6'3 frame with raw tools present. Long-limbed, loose approach at the plate. Drives the ball in the air when on time, peak exit velocity of 92.9 MPH. Steady intent defensively, fields fly balls at center of base and showed throws up to 76 MPH. Quick arm action on the mound with a FB 77-79 MPH and CH/SL offspeed duo.
