Washington Uncommitted Spotlight - '25 INF Carson Cody

Today Prep Baseball Washington continues our offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event this year. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

This week, we spotlight 2025 INF Carson Cody. The Emerald Ridge High School product had multiple strong showings this summer, first at the Seattle Summer ID and later at the first ever PNW State Games. The physical prospect showed out in both the workout and in-game portions across the two events.

Cody is a bat-first prospect that utilizes strong, powerful levers at the plate. The righty has shown the ability to hit to all fields, but sticks to a pull-oriented approach when in leverage counts. The size and athleticism projects well at third base, where he can make the routine play. Cody is coming off of a strong 2024 in which he was named First Team-SPSL at third base, and should be poised for a strong senior high school season. Below is information on the senior, including scouting reports and video from the Prep Baseball events.
