Washington Uncommitted Spotlight - '25 OF Nathan Soto

Dylan Grenz
Associate Scout

As we enter 2025, Prep Baseball Washington continues our offseason series of Uncommitted Spotlights, highlighting standout performers that attended a Prep Baseball showcase event in 2024. Uncommitted spotlights are meant to showcase players that Prep Baseball Scouts felt showed standout tools, large improvements in overall game, or potential upside moving forward. College coaches and recruiters should be sure to keep an eye on these prospects in the coming months.

This week, we spotlight '25 outfielder Nathan Soto. The righty out of Auburn Riverside High School had several solid showings, first at Pacific Northwest Preseason All-State, then at PNW State Games, and finally at the PNW Senior Games

Soto, a 5'8 athlete, features some quick-twitch that translates around the diamond, and can easily stick in center field defensively with 6.89-second speed. At the plate, the righty bat features a tight coil and a firm front side at contact, with an approach best suited for shooting the gaps. Below is a complete breakdown of the player, including scouting reports and video from this year's events.
