Week 2 2025 WA Hitter of the Week - Josh Perez

Each week throughout the high school season, we will announce the Prep Baseball Washington Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, recognizing standout performances from across the state. With numerous players excelling both at the plate and on the mound, this award will be based on nominations submitted through our POTW Google Form.
Additionally, we will continue our Washington Diamond Notes to highlight other deserving players nominated by coaches who were not selected as the Pitcher or Hitter of the Week.
This week's Hitter of the Week is '26 C Josh Perez (Sammamish).

Joshua Perez C / RHP / Sammamish, WA / 2026Junior Josh Perez nabs Hitter of the Week honors for week two of HS action in Washington. The catcher went 8/10, slugging four doubles with 8 RBI in three games played. He also walked twice, raising his OBP even further. Perez was a standout with a plus arm most recently seen at PNW Preseason All-State this February, and will be an uncommitted junior to keep an eye on this spring. |
