Two of the top left handed pitchers in the Class of 2015 were in action on Tuesday, Connor Wollersheim and Julian Alverio.

Both pitched gems, only one got the win.
 

Racine Case 9, Kenosha Bradford 0
Case sophomore Julian Alverio single handedly beat the top ranked team in the state in Kenosha Bradford.

Alverio shut out the Red Devils walking just one and striking out five en route to the upset win over Bradford. A stellar performance by the No. 15 prospect in Wisconsin's 2015 class.

Alverio also added a homerun and five RBI on the day to lead the offense.

Menasha 2, Neenah 0
Connor Wollersheim (No. 1 prospect in Class of 2015) allowed just two runs on Tuesday at Neenah HS, but the Rockets couldn't get the offense going in a 2-0 defeat to Menasha.

Wollersheim handled Menasha's lineup with ease, racking up 12 strikeouts. He allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over seven innings.

Aaron Langdon recorded the win for Menasha. He pitched seven shutout innings. Langdon struck out nine, walked two and gave up three hits.

Menasha stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the first, scoring two runs on two singles.

Burlington 7, Delevan 1
Delevan had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Burlington Demons dominated in a 7-1 win in seven innings at Delavan.

Nate Fischer did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Demons, reaching base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI, singling in the sixth inning.

Dane Helnore had an impressive outing giving up just two hits. The Demon pitcher allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Brookfield Academy 20, Wayland Academy 0
An 11-run explosion in the first inning hoisted Brookfield Academy to a 20-0 win in five innings over Wayland Academy on Tuesday.

Jack Leszczynski racked up four RBI on three hits for the Blue Knights. He singled in the first and second innings.

Al Dentice got the win for Brookfield Academy. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. Dentice struck out 10, walked one and gave up three hits.

The Blue Knights hammered Wayland Academy pitching as seven hitters had a field day, combining for nine hits, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Hartford 11, Milwaukee Lutheran 2
Parker Knueppel went 2-for-3 at the plate, but Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights fell 11-2 to Hartford on Tuesday.

Derek Hall got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Hall struck out two, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Nolan Sweeney, Hall, Austin Johrendt and Luke Everts helped lead Hartford. They combined for 10 hits and seven RBI.

Royall 2, Necedah 0
Junior right-hander Adam Vieth was nearly unhittable on the mound for Royall in a 2-0 victory over Necedah.

Vieth pitched a near flawless seven innings. He struck out nine allowing just one hit and one walk on his way to a shuout.

Waupun 9, Watertown 8
Things looked bleak for Waupun Warriors when it trailed by five runs in the sixth inning, but the Warriors lived up to their name and battle back to pull out a 9-8 win in seven innings over Watertown on Tuesday.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 17 runs and 18 hits, including six extra base hits.

Bryce Buchholz racked up three RBI on three hits for Waupun. He singled in the third, sixth, and seventh innings.

Keegan Pinch got the win for Waupun Warriors Varsity. He allowed one run over three innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Carson Weber led the way offensively for Watertown, he went 2-for-4 with a homerun and a triple, driving in three RBI and scoring a run.

Wisconsin Dells 13. Mauston 0
Ashton Mace powered Wisconsin Dells at the plate and on the mound Tuesday, willing the Chiefs to a 13-0 victory over the Mauston Golden Eagles.

Mace had two extra-base hits for the Chiefs. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and tripled in the fourth inning, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

The Mauston Golden Eagles couldn't get anything going so long as Mace was on the hill. The Golden Eagles managed just one hit off of the Wisconsin Dells pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his four innings of work.

Colyn Buss came in to shut the door in the final fifth inning, striking out the side.

Wisconsin Dells’ Mace, Colyn Buss, Jon Mor and Diggy Cimaroli combined for nine hits and eight RBI.

Motello 8, Cambria Friesland 3
Spencer Bylsma did all he could to give Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers Varsity a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Montello, as Cambria-Friesland Hilltoppers Varsity lost 8-3 in seven innings.

The Hilltoppers were led by a flawless day at the dish by Bylsma, who went 3-for-3 against Montello's pitching. He singled in the first, third, and seventh innings.

Garrett Stoegbauer got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over 6 1/3 innings. Stoegbauer struck out 13, walked four and gave up six hits.

Montello was sparked by Stoegbauer and Mitchell Hanson, who teamed up for three hits and four RBI.

Evansville 10, East Troy 0
East Troy Trojans Varsity lost 10-0 to Evansville at East Troy on Tuesday as Cody Pinnow allowed zero hits over four innings.

Evansville's Joe Carpenter, and Pinnow combined for a 5-for-6 day at the plate with four RBI and four runs scored.

East Troy 7, Evansville 6
East Troy and Evansville both had multiple scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was East Troy that was able to capitalize on them as it pulled out a 7-6 win.

Evansville got 13 hits compared with just seven for the Trojans, but Evansville stranded 12 on base.

Mitchell Sullivan racked up two RBI on two hits for East Troy. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning. Sullivan also pitched all seven innings recording four strikeouts.

Badger 4, Westosha Central 0
Badger Varsity jumped on Westosha Central early on its way to a 4-0 win in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning.

Colton Andresen kept Westosha Central off the board during his six innings of work. Andresen allowed two hits, no walks and struck out six.

Middleton 5, Sun Prairie 2
Brian Lochner held Sun Prairie at Bay on Tuesday as he work seven strong innings to secure the 5-2 victory for Middleton.

Lochner allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered five hits. He was also a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate.

Middleton jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the third. PJ Dimming singled to ignite Middleton's offense. Lochner later singled, plating Luke Schafer.

The lead stayed with Middleton after the fourth, when it scored two runs in their bottom half to answer the Cardinal attack.

Middleton tacked on another two runs in the fifth. Jackson Keeler started the inning with a double, scoring Schafer. That was followed up by Kasey Miller's single, bringing home Keeler.

Roncalli 2, Wrightstown 1
The Wrightstown Tigers lost 2-1 in seven innings on Tuesday, despite outhitting Roncalli six to one.

Jonathan Roberts recorded the win for Roncalli. He allowed one run over seven innings. He struck out eight, walked none and surrendered six hits.

In the fourth inning, the Tigers pushed across their only run of the day on an RBI single by Trevor Konkle.

St. Mary Central 12, Reedsville 5
St. Mary Central Zephyrs blew out Reedsville 12-5 on Tuesday after pouring on seven runs in the second inning.

Griffin Jack boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate to pace St. Mary Central. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Richard VandenBranden got the win for the Zephyrs. He allowed four runs over four innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

West Salem 3, La Crosse Aquinas 2
The Blugold took an early lead but it ultimately surrendered the lead in the sixth. West Salem would not be denied the win, taking the lead on an RBI single by Will Bartle.

Madison Edgewood 11, Monroe 2
Madison Edgewood beat Monros soundly by a final score of 11-2.

Sam Schemmel led the offensive attack for Edgewood as he drove in three going 2-for-4 with a double.

Mitch Riese drove in the only two RBI on one hit for Monroe. He doubled in the third inning.

Weston 15, Wonewoc-Center 5
Freshman Mark Klang stole the show on Tuesday for the Silver Eagles, as Weston took care of Wonewoc-Center 15-5.

Klang was a perfect 4-for-4 at the dish scoring two runs and driving in one while also pitching four strong innings of one run baseball. He struck out three and walked two while scattering five hits.

Fennimore 5, Cuba City 0
An ace performance by Kane Klais carried the Fennimore Golden Eagles to a 5-0 win in seven innings over Cuba City on Tuesday at Cuba City.

The Golden Eagles got the win thanks in large part to Klais' dominant, 14-strikeout performance. The Golden Eagles’ pitcher tossed six innings of shutout ball and allowed only one hit.

Big Foot 4, Palmyra-Eagle 0
A superb effort by Austin Hoey led Big Foot to a 4-0 win in seven innings over Palmyra-Eagle.

Hoey struck out 13, paving the way for a the Chiefs win. The Chiefs pitcher gave up just one hit over seven shutout innings.

Waterloo 28, Poynette 0
Waterloo rolled over Poynette 28-0 on Tuesday at Poynette after a 20-run rally in the third inning.

Nathan McCunn racked up three RBI on three hits for Waterloo . He singled in the first inning, doubled in the second inning, and tripled in the third inning.

Ben Lincks added three hits and four RBI in the winning effort.

Wilmot 13, Union Grove 4
Chaz Schmidt got the win for Wilmot. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered four hits.

Wilmot was sparked by Schmidt and Evan Ketterhagen, who teamed up for seven hits and four RBI.

Union Grove 6, Wilmot 1
Union Grove Broncos built an early lead against Wilmot, scoring four runs in the first inning, en route to a 6-1 win on Tuesday.

Ben Miller struck out 10 hitters en route to the Broncos win. Miller allowed no earned runs on three hits and four walks over seven innings.

The lone run of the game for Wilmot crossed the plate in the fifth inning on an error.
