Winona State commit Hayden Krimmer led the way for Oak Creek both at the plate and on the mound. The senior right hander fired a one hit shutout giving up a single to Conner Shipman in the first inning, Brookfield Central’s only base runner of the game. Krimmer is now 5-0 on the year recording his third shutout.

Krimmer also went 3-for-3 at the plate with two RBI.

No. 2 Franklin 2, Sussex Hamilton 1

West Bend East 5, No. 3 Whitefish Bay 3

No. 5 Homestead 10, No. 4 Germantown 7
In a top ten matchup of No. 5 Homestead and No.4 Germantown, Homestead pulled of the upset thanks to some big offensive performances by Colton Poelinger and Jake Erfourth.

Colton Poelinger led the offensive attack for Homestead as the leadoff hitter had a perfect 4-for-4 day with a walk, three runs scored and an RBI. Jake Erfourth added a solo home run.

Joey Szopinski also had a perfect 4-for-4 day in the losing efforts for Germantown. Szopinski had two RBI and scored twice.

No. 8 Kettle Moraine 4, Arrowhead 3

No. 9 Muskego 1, Catholic Memorial 0
Muskego didn't provide Aaron Kiewig with much support, but he didn't need it. Kiewig pitched seven strong innings to carry Muskego to a 1-0 win over Catholic Memorial in seven innings on Thursday.

The Warriors held Catholic Memorial without a run while Kiewig was on the mound. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out four.

The Wauwatosa East Red Raiders Ben Plaisted pitched well, but providing enough offense to notch a victory proved difficult Thursday, as the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders Varsity fell to West Allis Central 3-2 at Belich Field.

Mike Manlick recorded the win for West Allis Central. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Ben Carpenter reached base two times in the game for the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders Varsity. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the sixth inning.

Menomonee Falls 7, Marquette University 3

Pewaukee 10, Saint Francis 0

Waukesha West 5, Waukesha South 4
Waukesha South looked to be in control, up by three runs in the seventh inning, but Waukesha West came back to grab a 5-4 win on Thursday at Waukesha West.

Ian Howden got the win in relief for West. Howden pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed no runs.

Waukesha West was sparked by Zack Hastings and Brandyn Wright, who teamed up for four hits and three RBI. Wright also scored the game winning run after doubling to centerfield.

Sheboygan Falls 10, Kiel 2

West Bend West 3, Nicolet 2
The Nicolet Knights came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 3-2 ballgame against West Bend West on Thursday.

While Nicolet led until the sixth inning, West Bend West worked its way back and tied the game on a two-run double by Ryan Morrison.

Jake Kopp got the win for West Bend West. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Mukwanago 14, Waukesha North 4
Waukesha North collected just five hits and V fell 14-4 to Mukwanago at Mukwanago High School on Thursday.

Noah Sadler racked up five RBI on three hits for the Mukwonago Indians. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and homered in the fifth inning.

Sam Dorshorst did his best to jumpstart the offense for Waukesha North, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning.

JJ Crawford got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over five innings. Crawford struck out four, walked five and gave up five hits.

Mukwanago pounded Waukesha North’s pitching, as six hitters combined for nine hits, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored.
