By: Isaiah Glidden
Area Scout, Staff Writer

Each week, WIAA coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Wisconsin Player of the Week honor. On Wednesday, we awarded the fourth POTW of the year, representing Week 4, to RHP/INF Caden Capomaccio (Notre Dame Academy, 2022; Minnesota), who K'd 12 batters in five innings and he also pulled more than his weight offensively, recording seven hits, four RBIs and scoring seven runs.

Inside of this Diamond Notes piece, we acknowledge the performances that fell short of that POTW honor, but are still deserving of some recognition here.
