Eastern Wisconsin Open: Outfielder Analysis

By Wisconsin Staff

On Aug. 18, the PBR Wisconsin team made its annual trip to Sheboygan to host its perennial Eastern Wisconsin Open showcase. At the end of each summer, this Sheboygan-area event shines a light on some of the top prospects residing in the eastern portion of the state, an area we aren’t able to see often enough.

We previously covered this event through our rapid analysis inside our Quick Hits post, as well as a more data-driven dive, with our Statistical Analysis.

Today, however, is reserved for the day’s 10 outfielders, after we covered the event’s backstops yesterday. Leading the way in this group is junior Riley Bauman, who helped Stratford win the Division-3 state title in June with a couple hits in the championship game. Another junior to follow is Waterford’s Gavin Roanhouse, a big 6-foot-4 right-handed bat with power projection. You can find scouting reports Bauman, Roanhouse, as well as each of the showcase’s outfielders below.
