The GRB Rays will be heading in the Labor Day Challenge leaning on their arms. The Rays feature six pitchers inside the top 25 in the state led by RHP Ryan Schmitt (Arrowhead).

Schmitt recently impressed at the PBR Future Games sitting 86-87 mph touching 88 mph. Schmitt will be one of the more highly touted arms that is still looking to find a collegiate home. The Rays also bring a pair of southpaws in Jordan Krueger (Mukwonago) and Keaton Knueppel (Verona Area), both appeared in the Future Games with 81-84 mph fastballs from the left side.

RHP Keith Kutzler (Tremper) had one of the more productive outings at the PBR Future Games working two scoreless innings at 81-84 mph. Taylor Borchers (Appleton North) and Grant Frazer (Oconto) are both two-way players who should see time on the mound with their mid-80’s fastballs.
