No. 1 Ranked 2014 Jeren Kendall commits to Vanderbilt

You can add another top ranked prospect to Vanderbilt’s 2014 recruiting class, Jeren Kendall from Holmen HS. Vanderbilt has recently landed two other 2014 top prospects in the Prep Baseball Report coverage area in Michigan’s No. 1, Matt Rupenthal, an 88-91 mph right handed pitcher, and Liam Sabino, a slick fielding strong armed shortstop who is ranked No. 3 in Pennsylvania.

Now you can add the No.1 ranked prospect in Wisconsin’s Class of 2014 with outfielder Jeren Kendall.

Kendall is a smooth swinging left handed hitting outfielder from Holmen HS. At 5-foot-10, 165-pounds he has shown one of the more advanced approaches at the plate I’ve seen. The ball jumps off his bat with his short quick bat path that stays inside the ball well. Kendall’s repeatable swing should translate well into the Commodores’ lineup.

As Kendall embarks on his junior season he will grab plenty of attention as the first, and top ranked 2014, to make his commitment in Wisconsin.
