Today, we’ll go through a team-by-team preview of each squad we’re expecting to see compete at The Rock this weekend.

ADIDAS ACADEMY WISSLER

This Adidas Academy team has a handful of follow prospects on it from our friends down in Missouri. RHP Drew Meyers (St. Dominic, 2022) looks the part on the mound, as the 6-foot-1, 172-pound Meyers was up to 87 mph this winter with his fastball and landed a mid-60s curveball for strikes in his ‘pen, too. Another arm to note on this team: RHP Ty Rauser (Francis Howell, 2022). A 6-foot-3, 175-pound projectable athlete, Rauser sat 84-86 mph in his bullpen at the A’s Scout Day event in February. LHP Daniel Wissler (Fort Zumwalt West, 2022) is a 6-foot, 160-pound southpaw with a quick arm and three pitches, including a low-80s fastball. MIF Cole Vance (Liberty-Wentzville, 2022) is currently ranked inside Missouri’s 2022 rankings as an athletic up-the-middle defender with clean actions on the dirt.

Ty Rauser

BREW STATE BASEBALL ACADEMY

There’s a handful of intriguing uncommitted prospects on this Brew State Baseball team, led by RHP Luke Sopha (Pewaukee, 2022) - a name set to rise on our next ‘22 rankings update. The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Sopha had a strong spring for Pewaukee on the mound and showed well at our recent Top Prospect - Milwaukee event, pumping his fastball at 83-86 mph while landing a low-70s curveball for strikes, too. His high school teammates, OF Nick Doubek (Pewaukee, 2022) and C Jack Sandvik (Pewaukee, 2022), both had strong seasons for the Pirates en route to a state playoffs appearance. RHP Riley O’Connell is another arm to follow on this squad, as the 6-foot-4, 180-pound right-hander worked his fastball at 83-86 mph at The Rock a few weeks ago. Finally, OF/C Seth Thomas (Wauwatosa West, 2022) is a high upside athlete with pretty evident tools and a projectable 6-foot, 155-pound frame that’s still fully refining his craft.

CANES ILLINOIS 17U

We just saw Canes Illinois 16U, a talented bunch, at The Rock this past weekend and we’re eager to see what their 2022 team has to offer. There’s certainly some follow arms on this roster, as LHP Tyler Jewett (Oswego East, 2022; Oakland) and LHP Drew Duckhorn (Hinsdale South, 2022; Illinois State) are two ranked southpaws in the Prairie State’s incoming senior class that headline this staff. C/3B Matt Rodarte (St. Rita, 2022) is a strong 6-foot, 220-pound right-handed hitter, while C Hunter Stroud (Oswego, 2022) brings another physical presence to this lineup, standing at 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. RHP Torin Byrnes (Kenosha Tremper, 2022) joins the Canes from Wisconsin, as the former PBR Future Games participant is trending up in the state’s 2022 class. A 6-foot-6, 200-pound athlete, Byrnes showed well this past spring as the ace of Tremper’s pitching staff, ironing out his mechanics and working more efficiently downhill. He’ll pump a mid-80s fastball in for strikes, touching 86 mph in our looks, and can land a breaking ball for strikes, too.

CBT 17U

There are several follow names on this CBT Wolfpack roster, starting with Amherst’s ace RHP Benjamin Lee (2022). The 6-foot-6, 200-pound right-hander controls his levers well downhill, pumping in an 83-86 mph fastball that’s touched 87 mph in our previous look. He’s fully improved his command of a sharp-spun breaking ball that he can land for strikes and he’ll occasionally mix in a fading changeup, too. LHP Owen DePrez (Luxemburg-Casco, 2022) came away a big winner after our Top Prospect - Milwaukee event, pounding the zone with an 83-85 mph fastball from a tight window and he also spun his slider at 2,400+ RPM, too. LHP Jack Grable (New London, 2022), is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound strong-bodied southpaw up to 84 mph with his fastball at Top Prospect - Milwaukee. INF Bryson Webb (De Pere, 2022) is an athletic up-the-middle defender with loose bat speed and a quick, athletic arm that topped at 87 mph across the infield with carry. Those four, and this entire roster for that matter, are still all uncommitted.

CENTRAL ILLINOIS OUTLAWS 17U

The Outlaws appear to have some power in this rotation with six arms that we’ve seen touch 85 mph or higher with their fastballs listed on their roster. LHP Gus Lucas (Washington, 2022; Bradley) is a top-40 prospect in the class. A pair of upside uncommitted RHP’s in Wes Hunt (Peoria Christian, 2022) and Joseph Swanson (Pekin, 2022) are set to throw this weekend and we’re excited to get an in-game look at both. Hunt is a 6-foot-7, 195-pound thin-levered athlete that was up to 88 mph this past winter. As for Swanson, the 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect touched 89 mph last month at the Top Prospect - St. Louis showcase and spun both his breaking pitches at 2,300+ RPM. RHP Caleb Diver (Dunlap, 2022), RHP Nick Rainey (Illinois Valley Central, 2022), and RHP Kaiser Quick (Metamora, 2022) are all names worth watching as they work throughout the weekend. There are a few follows on offense for the Outlaws, as MIF Trent Koehler (Lincoln Community, 2022) is a quick-twitch 6.85 runner that was also up to 93 across the infield at our Top Prospect - Chicago event. C Nathan Cooley (Illinois Valley Central, 2022) captains this staff behind the plate with clean catch-and-throw skills while C/3B Ethan Sosnowski (East Peoria, 2022) is a strong, physical 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitter that’s reportedly been juicing balls this summer. This is certainly a team with multiple follow uncommitted prospects.

CHICAGO ELITE 2022

There’s plenty of power on the mound with this Chicago Elite squad. RHP Jake Swartz (Normal U-High, 2022; Illinois) emerged as a huge winner from our PBR ProCase - Midwest, bumping his fastball up to 94 mph, while sitting at 91-93 mph throughout his inning of work. Swartz also spun his curveball at a 2,400+ RPM average, reaching a max of 2,600+ RPM. Still uncommitted RHP Jack Bach (Normal U-High, 2022) is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound upside arm that’s been 90+ mph this summer with his fastball. Throw LHP/OF Chase Adams (Normal U-High, 2022) into that mix as well, as the 6-foot-2, 185-pound southpaw has been up to 87 mph in our past looks with a hammer curveball, maxing out at 2,500+ RPM. There’s legit two-way upside with Adams, as he controls his left-handed stroke with ease, maintaining a level barrel plane through the zone. RHP Jack Wajda (Providence Catholic, 2022) adds more fuel to the mix, as a physically mature 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete that touched 87 mph this spring with the Celtics. Handling all these arms behind the plate is C Evan Kochel (Normal U-High, 2022), a physical 6-foot-1, 230-pound athlete that’s got plenty of experience with these arms under his belt from the high school season. Finally, INF Matthew Morsovillo (Sandburg, 2022) is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound high-upside athlete with gap-to-gap power inside a loose, right-handed stroke.

EDGE BASEBALL 17U

From the Madison area, Edge brings a roster with players that we haven’t really seen up-close, so we’re excited to get a look at this bunch as the weekend rolls on. There are a few names that we have seen recently, however, like RHP Charlie McChesney (Verona, 2022) and LHP Aidan Baccus (Madison West, 2022). McChesney is a 6-foot, 205-pound right-hander that’s been up to 85 mph in the past with his heater and throws both his secondary pitches for strikes, including a true downer curveball with two-plane break. Baccus showed well at the Badger State battle earlier this month, as the lanky, long-levered southpaw can really spin a breaking ball and he’s solid in the batter’s box as well. Left-handed hitting OF Erik Pongratz (Middleton, 2022) had a strong season offensively for the Cardinals, too.

ESP SELECT BLACK 2022

There’s a lot of names on this ESP roster that we’re excited to get another close look at. One of them is OF Jake Petak (Lincoln-Way East, 2022), who has several intriguing tools inside a proportionally strong 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame. He reached a maxed exit velocity of 96 mph in BP at the Lockport Preseason I.D., showed above-average swing metrics, and also ran a 6.99 in the 60-yard dash. INF Gavin Dobbels (Yorkville, 2022) brings a sure-handed defensive presence up the middle, as well as a repeatable stroke from both sides of the box with loose hands and wrists.

Jake Petak

GAME SEVEN LEGACY

We’ve seen some strong Game Seven Legacy rosters over the past few years at The Rock and we’re expecting the same from this group. INF Eli Hensley (Normal West, 2022; Heartland CC) leads this team as a tooled up left-handed hitting middle infielder that looks the part in game. Left-handed hitting C/3B Jacob Castleman (El Paso, 2022) juiced multiple balls deep into the right-center gap at Phillies Field during BP at the Top Prospect - Milwaukee event last week. From Bloomington HS, SS/RHP Cameron Anderson (2022) showed some tools at the Peoria Preseason I.D. early in the year and there’s certainly upside attached to his 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame. There are several names on this list we haven’t seen up close or in a showcase setting yet, so it’ll be an exciting first look at those athletes.

Eli Hensley

GRB RAYS GREEN

This GRB team is absolutely littered with high-end talent from top to bottom. There’s eight players on this team ranked inside the top-35 in the 2022 class, including four alone that are top-20 ranks. Their most high-end prospect, however, is Notre Dame commit INF Cal Fisher (Deerfield), who’s been playing up a level all summer and is presently ranked No. 2 overall and 168th nationally for the 2023 class. Surrounding Fisher are a plethora of high level prospects, all of whom were PBR Future Gamers: OF Joey Nerat (Campbellsport, 2022; Dallas Baptist), OF Cuyler Zukowski (Madison LaFollette, 2022; Creighton), OF Addison Ostrenga (Sun Prairie, 2022; Iowa), INF Kolton Schaller (Mount Horeb, 2022; uncommitted) and INF Davis Hamilton (Sun Prairie, 2022; uncommitted). It’s a pretty deep lineup with impact bats scattered throughout that are capable of doing some serious damage at the plate.

The depth doesn’t stop there for GRB, as they enter this weekend with an equally explosive pitching staff. RHP Theo Zeidler (Bay Port, 2022; Bradley) cemented himself as unequivocally one of the state’s top arms this past spring, commanding all three of his pitches for strikes with plenty of future upside attached to his 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. RHP Caden Capomaccio (Notre Dame Academy, 2022) popped in a major way this past off-season and now regularly sits at 88-92 with his fastball, all while spinning in a swing-and-miss slider. LHP Christian Oppor (Columbus, 2022) possesses some of the highest upside in the class, as the 6-foot-1, 175-pound southpaw has been up to an easy 93 mph with his fastball in our looks. It’s been some time since we’ve seen either LHP Luke Ross (IMG Academy, 2022; Minnesota) and RHP Brendan Strenke (Turtle Lake, 2022; Iowa), so it’ll be exciting to get an up-to-date look at these two high-end arms.

GRB RAYS MKE GREEN

Arms appear to be the strength of the GRB Milwaukee roster, with a handful of quality uncommitted athletes nestled inside this rotation. The lone committed arm, however, is LHP Matthew Mueller (Brookfield Central, 2022; Gonzaga), an upside 6-foot-5, 190-pound southpaw with a mid-to-high-80s heater and a sweeping slider that’s flashed as a potential weapon in our looks. LHP Michael Carpenter (Arrowhead, 2022) had a strong season as a go-to arm for the Warhawks and showed well at our Top Prospect - Milwaukee event, striking out the side during his only inning on the mound. RHP Nolan Klug (Menomonee Falls, 2022) brings an ultra-physical 6-foot-5, 225-pound frame to the mound and touched 90 mph in his ‘pen at our Madison Preseason I.D. in March. RHP Gavin Gawronski (Marquette, 2022) and RHP Nathan Melnikoff (Mukwonago, 2022) both played integral roles on the mound for their respective high school teams this spring.

Offensively for the Rays, INF Max Stocco (Marquette, 2022) and INF David Wilhite (Stillman Valley, IL, 2022; Quincy) figure to man both spots up the middle. Both SS Nolan Gawrych (West Bend East, 2022) and 1B/LHP Vincent Gohlke (New Berlin West, 2022) earned all-conference honors for their respective high school teams. Finally, OF Dillon Rosado (Brookfield Central, 2022) showed well in gameplay at the Top Prospect - Milwaukee event with two hits, including a triple.

GRB RAYS YELLOW

We saw this Rays Yellow squad at the Badger State Battle a few weeks ago and came away thoroughly impressed with the talent on their roster. There’s a plethora of talented athletes on this roster, with INF Jalen Gellings (Campbellsport, 2022) leading the charge. Still uncommitted, Gellings continues to thump baseballs left and right as one of the of the top pure hitters in the class. OF Brandon Carew (Kimberly, 2022) and INF Colin Obermann (Kimberly, 2022) both played key roles for a top-end Papermakers’ team this spring with the former earning All-Conference honors. Both INF Bjorn Pressler (Eau Claire Memorial, 2022) and INF David Matuszak (Madison LaFollette, 2022) looked the part as athletic up-the-middle infield defenders at Badger State. It’s a roster full of uncommitted talent certainly worth keeping an eye on throughout the weekend.

GREAT LAKES BASEBALL 2022S

One of the few Minnesota teams in attendance, Great Lakes has two squads set to attend this weekend and we’re expecting to see plenty of talent from one of the top travel programs in Minnesota. There’s 14 players on this roster that are ranked inside the state’s 2022 class, including nine inside the top-100. There’s a plethora of arms on this roster, including four that have all touched 87+ mph with their fastballs. RHP Andrew Ball (Red Wing) is the highest-ranked arm of that quartet, as the 6-foot-5, 215-pound Ball has some pretty serious upside on the mound. RHP Josh Kirchhoff (Concordia Academy), RHP Ian Culver (Roseville), and RHP Ben Weber (Cretin Derham Hall) round out that group as three power-armed right-handers that spin their breaking balls at a 2,400+ RPM rate. RHP Trevor Lee (East Ridge, 2023; Wichita State) is the lone member from Minnesota’s 2023 class to make an appearance, but the 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect has pretty significant upside on the mound. He works with ease downhill, pumping his fastball at 88-90 mph while still developing feel for both his secondaries.

Trevor Lee

There’s plenty of names to follow offensively for this Great Lakes team, too. C/SS Zakary Goodwin (Roseville) is a left-handed hitting backstop ranked inside the state’s top-25 with a clean, loose swing and crisp actions behind the dish. Both OF Caden Wildman (East Ridge) and OF Brendan Goldman (Mounds View, 2022) are sub 6.70 runners with tooled up skill-sets and projectable frames. It’s a loaded team from top to bottom that’ll certainly gain plenty of attention throughout the weekend.

Zakary Goodwin

GREAT LAKES BASEBALL RED 2022

The second Lumberjacks team we’ll see this weekend, this Great Lakes Red squad has several uncommitted follow names to watch throughout the tourney. Left/left OF Jacob Slipka (Centennial, 2022; MN) is a twitchy 5-foot-11, 170-pound athlete ranked inside Minnesota’s 2022 class. INF Tyler Motley (John Marshall, 2022; MN) looks the part in the box, standing at a strong, well-proportioned and still projectable 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. He swings a loose right-handed bat with easy wrist speed and some raw pop, too. RHP Eric Stomberg (Cretin-Derham Hall, 2022; MN) stands at a high-waisted 6-foot-2, 164-pound frame with a fastball in the low-80s and a curveball spinning at 2,200 RPM. RHP Michael Prosch (Champlin Park, 2022; MN) is built at a physical 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame with a thick lower half and broad shoulders, bumping his fastball in the low-80s. From Wisconsin, LHP Owen Weadge (Hudson, 2022) enjoyed a successful season as a frontline arm for the Raiders. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound southpaw is a pitchability arm that throws three pitches for strikes.

Tyler Motley

HITTERS BASEBALL NAVY

There’s obviously an immense amount of talent on this Hitters Navy squad, including the top two prospects in the state’s current ‘22 ranks, both of which are gaining some national buzz: INF Gavin Kilen (Milton, 2022; Louisville) and OF Michael Lippe (Whitefish Bay, 2022; Louisville). Kilen is set to follow the footsteps of many before him as the state’s next high-end shortstop prospect with a silky smooth left-handed stroke and mature approach at the dish. Lippe’s physicality stands out in the dish, as the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Louisville commit possesses tools that are definitely capable of translating to the professional level. It’ll be the first time we’ve seen either of these two in game action in quite some time. Both INF/RHP Mitchell Voit (Whitefish Bay, 2022; Michigan) and C Will Vierling (Homestead, 2022; Louisville) are two more high-end names on this roster - both inside the state’s top five prospects and are each national ranks, too. LHP Michael Mulhollon (Westosha Central, 2022; Wichita State) and INF Tristan Ellis (Greendale, 2022; Purdue) round out the number of top-10 ranked prospects this team has on its roster - six.

The overflow of talent doesn’t stop there, however. RHP Mason Buss (Arrowhead, 2022; Kansas State) is one of the more competitive arms in the class - a bulldog-type ace for the Warhawks with a mid-to-high-80s fastball and feel for three pitches. RHP Luke Klekamp (Oak Creek, 2022) is cut from a similar mold to Buss, as a competitive, pitchability arm that’s still uncommitted on this roster. INF Ian Choi (Indian Trail, 2022; Butler) does just about everything right on the diamond with a top-of-the-order offensive profile and sure-handed actions up the middle. Both OF Jonathan Kim (Brookfield Academy, 2022) and OF D.J. Kojis (Whitefish Bay, 2022) represented Team Wisconsin at last year’s Future Games and are still uncommitted. From Illinois, RHP Brady Banker (Carmel Catholic, 2022; Illinois) and C Hayden Christiansen (Richmond-Burton, 2022; Xavier) are two high-end ranked names in the Prairie State’s incoming senior class that add more firepower to this roster.

HITTERS BASEBALL 2022 WHITE

This Hitters’ White team is enjoying a strong summer, entering this tournament with 22 wins on the year and a roster full of talent. INF Camdin Jansen (Racine Lutheran, 2022) has added plenty of strength onto a 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame since we saw him at the Future Games last summer and it’s added more impact onto his right-handed barrel. Another former Future Gamer, RHP/INF James Reese (University School, 2022; UL-Lafayette), had a pretty impressive season with an up-and-coming University School squad and brings upside on both sides of the ball. Recent UL-Lafayette commit, INF John Ahler (Marian Central Catholic, 2022) brings a table-setter presence, with 6.64 speed, to the top of this lineup and can really defend up the middle, too. Both OF Charlie Marion (Franklin, 2022) and OF Dylan Mass (Franklin, 2022; St. Leo) are two left-handed bats that just know how to flat-out hit, projecting as future top-of-the-order types. C Heath Venne (Muskego, 2022) has a muscular 5-foot-11, 195-pound frame with innate bat strength and above-average arm strength to pair behind the dish. On the mound, RHP Jaxson Easterlin (Franklin, 2022; Oakland) and RHP Kendall Lyons (Warren Township, IL, 2022; Illinois-Chicago) are two more Division I commits that this team can deploy out of their rotation. Finally, INF Jake Petasek (Green Bay Preble, 2022) and INF Matthew Miller (Ozaukee, 2022) are two uncommitted infield names that showed well in our most recent looks.

HOUNDS BASEBALL - SCHALLMOSER

This Hounds - Schallmoser team is full of players we’ve never seen before, whether it be at the IHSA level or in a showcase setting. With that being said, we’ll use this weekend as an early identifier to these 2022 prospects that’ll wear a the baby blue Hounds’ jerseys throughout the tournament.

HOUNDS BASEBALL 17U

We’re not too familiar with a handful of the names that makeup this Hounds roster, but there are a few we’ve gotten our eyes on already prior to the weekend. INF Nathan Edders (Oswego East, 2022) is a wiry 5-foot-10, 155-pound athlete with controlled actions in the box from the right side and active rhythm on the infield dirt. We’ll be locking in throughout the tournament to get a more in-depth look at these Hounds players.

Nathan Edders

ILLINOIS PREMIER 2022 - GIMBAL

There are several names on this Illinois Premier roster we haven’t seen in person before, so it’ll be a great first look at them throughout the weekend against plenty of quality competition. OF Kyle Kevish (Lockport, 2022) is a name that’s popped some over the summer, as the 6-foot-2, 165-pound thin-levered outfielder has upside at the plate with his frame and a loose, controlled stroke. Still, we’re excited to see a bunch of new faces at The Rock this weekend.

Kyle Kevish

ISA STARS BLACK 2022

Another team that showed well at Badger State Battle, this ISA Stars Black team has a handful of names worth following throughout the weekend. 3B/C Reese Berg (Green Bay Preble, 2022) is a strong 6-foot-2, 190-pound athlete that had a strong season for the Hornets and possess innate thump inside his right-handed barrel. 1B Wendell Waukau Jr. (Menominee Indian, 2022) hits in the middle of this lineup, as he’s trimmed down and added more muscle onto his frame over the last six months. He’s got some serious juice attached to his left-handed swing, barreling up multiple balls at 90+ mph at our Fox Cities Preseason I.D. this March. SS/RHP Griffin Smith (Appleton North, 2022) is a lean, wiry athlete with whippy arm strength and sure-handed actions up the middle, while RHP Evan Johnson (Kimberly, 2022) has some of the longer limbs in the class, standing at an immense 6-foot-6, 190-pound frame.

Evan Johnson (3/14/2021)

ISA STARS ROYAL 2022

This ISA Stars Royal team has impact talent throughout their roster and a large chunk of their team remains uncommitted. The lone committed name is RHP Jared Hanson (Escanaba, MI, 2022; Central Michigan), a physical 6-foot-3, 190-pound arm with a fastball that’s been up to 89 mph. Another Michigan product, OF Cam Kelly (Gladstone Area, 2022) has game-changing level speed that plays in game, particularly on the bases. OF Jaicee Foster (Green Bay Southwest, 2022) represented Team Select at the PBR Future Games last August and is a 6-foot, 185-pound athlete with natural gap-to-gap pop at the plate. RHP Ryan Roehl (West Bend West, 2022) showed well at our Badger State Battle, carving through a quality opposing lineup with an athletic arm on the hill and a mid-to-high-80s heater. C Cade Milton (Notre Dame Academy, 2022) popped up this spring as a follow name after a strong season with the Tritons and looks the part of a potential middle-of-the-order bat. Then there’s C/RHP Reece Stangel (Roncalli, 2022), a physically built 6-foot-1, 190-pound athlete with loose thump inside his right-handed barrel and a live arm that’s reportedly bumping his fastball up at 88+ mph. 1B/RHP Brandon Black (Bay Port, 2022) and OF John Nickel (Bay Port, 2022) are likely going to be key pieces for the Pirates next spring and they’re both on this team, too.

ISA STARS WHITE 2022

We saw this ISA Stars White team at Badger State Battle and a few pop-up follows emerged from their roster. OF Nolan Amundson (Norway, 2022) looked the part roaming the outfield as a left/left follow with athletic foot speed. Roaming the outfield next to Amundson is OF Cameron Jackson (Ashwaubenon, 2022), a high-upside, toolsy 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete with easy juice that’s reportedly having a strong summer at the plate. C/INF Jace Midbon (Freedom, 2022) has some upside levers attached to his 6-foot-3, 170-pound frame and took some quality hacks at the dish up in Mauston. Finally, RHP Ryan Jamison (Rhinelander, 2022) twirled a 12-strikeout gem up at the Badger State Battle, an outing that landed him on our radar despite not seeing him in game prior to that.

Cameron Jackson (3/21/2021)

MASH 17U

As they typically do, this MASH 17U team has some legit dudes on it, with several top prospects in Minnesota’s 2022 class scattered throughout this roster. We’ll see one of the top arms in the Midwest’s ‘22 class this weekend when LHP Logan Olson (Academy of Holy Angels; Oregon) toes the rubber. A 6-foot-4, 175-pound southpaw, Olson touched 89 mph this winter in a ‘pen, sitting at 86-89 mph throughout with his fastball. There’s feel for both his secondaries as well, completing a quality three-pitch mix. Two more arms to follow on this roster are RHP Zachary Dohrmann (Farmington) and LHP Jackson Thielen (Eden Prairie), both of which are ranked prospects and uncommitted.

Logan Olson

Leading the charge offensively is INF/RHP Liam Martin (Eagan; UC - Santa Barbara), a former PBR Future Games participant that’s currently ranked No. 9 overall in the state. He’s a wiry 6-foot-1, 152-pound athlete with controlled levers in the box and a whippy arm that’s been up to 88 mph in the past, settling in at 85-87 mph. There’s a ton of other offensive talent on this team, like OF James Fafinski (Providence Academy) and INF/OF Connor Weed (Farmington), both of which are sub 6.80 runners with twitchy athleticism. INF/RHP Kyle Hrncir (Farmington) is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound ultra-physical athlete with sub-7.00 speed in the 60-yard dash, a swing tailor-made to elevate the baseball, and a fastball that’s been up to 89 mph this summer. C/OF Peter Johnson (Blake School) brings plenty of thump to the middle of this lineup, as a 6-foot-4, 195-pound backstop with an intentful left-handed stroke, pictured below. As does 1B/3B Gabe Bombardier (Farmington); a 6-foot-3, 205-pound corner infielder with advanced batted ball and swing metrics, per our TrackMan Units and Blast Motion sensors. This MASH team doesn’t lack physicality whatsoever and they’ll be a treat to watch throughout the tournament.

Peter Johnson

MIDWEST HALOS 2022 RED

This Halos roster is deep with talent, as eight prospects set to done their uniform this weekend are ranked inside the state’s 2022 class. C Will Johannes (Mukwonago, 2022) leads the pack, as the 6-foot-2, 205-pound backstop remains the top uncommitted backstop in the state and No. 24 overall. INF A.J. Lausten (Hartford Union, 2022; St. John’s) and INF Ryan Campbell (Brookfield Academy, 2022) man their middle infield, while OF Eli Michaelis (Wauwatosa East, 2022) will continuously roam the center field grass all weekend for the Halos. Another name you’ll see on the infield dirt is INF/RHP Cristiano Ramirez (Muskego, 2022), a wiry 6-foot-1, 170-pound athlete that’s been swinging it well all summer and can pick it with the glove. His high school teammate, OF/RHP Adam Balcerak (2022), is one of the more uniquely gifted athletes in the class with a strong arm, bumping an 88 mph high with his fastball in our previous looks. C/1B Alec Campbell (Milton, 2022) blasted a deep home run at our Top Prospect - Milwaukee event during the gameplay portion and there’s plenty of untapped power potential inside a strong 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame. LHP Willard Peterson (Evansville, 2022) has been one of the state’s biggest risers over the last calendar year, bumping his fastball up to an 88 mph high with one of the more impressive spin profiles in the state. There’s plenty of uncommitted talent on this Halos’ roster and they’ll be one to watch throughout the weekend.

MINNESOTA STARTERS 17U - BLACK

Another team we’ll see from Minnesota this weekend, STARTERS perennially brings some explosive arm talent to The Rock and this year doesn’t appear to be any different. There’s a plethora of uncommitted arms to follow on this roster, led by RHP Cade Wiegert (Southwest Christian, 2022), who’s presently ranked No. 15 overall in the class. A 6-foot-4, 200-pound athlete, Wiegert reached a 90 mph high with his fastball earlier this summer, working at an easy pace downhill. RHP Jack Kreuger (Belle Plaine, 2022) was a Future Gamer last summer and the 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-hander has previously been up to 88 mph with his fastball. The same goes for RHP Cole Newell (Maple Grove, 2022), a wiry 6-foot-4, 185-pound athlete that touched 88 mph this winter and spins two different breaking balls as well. Two more uncommitted arms with 85+ mph fastballs in their tool belts on this staff: LHP Henry Brandt (Prior Lake, 2022) and RHP Ethan Coyer (Farmington, 2022).

Cade Wiegert

Two follow names on the offensive side for this Starters team: 1B Kyle Hvidsten (Jordan, 2022) and OF Noah Hanson (McDonnell Central, 2022; WI). Hvidsten was a member of Team Minnesota at the Future Games last August and he swings a powerful right-handed bat with easy plus raw power nestled inside. From Wisconsin, Hanson is a strong, thick-bodied 6-foot-2, 205-pound outfielder with 6.82 wheels, natural bat speed, and middle-of-the-order upside at the plate.

Kyle Hvidsten

MN BLIZZARD 2022 BLUE

The final team set to make the trip down from Minnesota for the weekend, this Minnesota Blizzard team is juiced up with high-end talent throughout. RHP Samuel Kennedy (North St. Paul, 2022) leads the charge here, as the fifth overall prospect in the Minnesota 2022 class remains uncommitted. A 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete, Kennedy sat at 89-91 mph throughout his pen at the Minnesota Preseason All-State, spinning his curveball at 2,600+ RPM and a slider at 2,800+ RPM. RHP Jeremy Bingesser (Pierz Healy, 2022) worked his fastball at 85-87 mph last summer and the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Bingesser committed to East Carolina shortly after. RHP Josh Auger (Rochester Mayo, 2022) is an upside arm on this team, standing at a high-waisted 6-foot-4, 175-pound frame with a fastball that was up to 89 mph this past March. It appears that LHP Kale Hopke (Amery, 2022; WI) has made some progress on the mound since we last saw him, as the 6-foot-1, 210-pound southpaw is now reportedly bumping his fastball up into 84-87 mph range with a swing-and-miss slider to pair.

Samuel Kennedy

As if they didn’t have enough talent on the mound already, this Blizzard lineup isn’t going to be easy for anyone to go up against. Leading the group are the No. 11 and No. 12 ranked prospects in the state, respectively, both of which were Future Gamers last summer: OF Easton Fritcher (Hayfield, 2022) and MIF Maddox Mihalakis (Hopkins, 2022; Arizona). Fritcher is a 6-foot, 195-pound left/left athlete with 6.78 speed and an easy top-of-the-order type profile. Mihalakis also swings left-handed, as the 6-foot-2, 190-pound middle infielder has all the makings of a high-level bat with quality actions up the middle, too. All 1B Blake Guerin (Mounds View, 2022; Iowa) does is mash, as the 6-foot-7, 255-pound physical specimen boasts some of the loudest raw power in the entire Midwest. OF/RHP Zak Endres (Lakeville South, 2022) doubles as a two-way stud with an impact left-handed stroke and a fastball that touched 90 mph this winter. Another upside athlete is OF Tomas Nelson (Roseville, 2022), a 6-foot-3, 190-pound 6.91 runner with impressive hand speed metrics and a loose arm from the outfield. Left-handed hitting OF Hayden Mileski (Lakeville South, 2022) is committed to Tulane and has some pretty intriguing athleticism on both sides of the ball, too. Simply put, this team is absolutely loaded.

Easton Fritcher

MVP ELITE BASEBALL 2022 HOLBROOK

There are several toolsy names on this MVP Elite Baseball team, starting with OF Alexander Cherian (Niles West, 2022). A 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete, Cherian has natural arm strength from all across the diamond and there’s upside in his bat, too. Left/left OF Drew Wellington (Mundelein, 2022) played a key role for a highly successful Mustangs team this spring and is a 6.69 runner with speed that certainly translates in-game. C Kyle Odeshoo (Prospect, 2022) was a major reason why Prospect made a deep run into the IHSA playoffs this spring, as a strong right-handed hitting 5-foot-11, 185-pound backstop. At our Preseason All-State event this March, Odeshoo recorded one of the event’s highest average exit speeds off the barrel at 92.32 mph, per TrackMan. On the mound, LHP Joey Woods (Stevenson, 2022) is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound southpaw that touched 82 mph at our Class of 2022 Showcase last October.

Kyle Odeshoo

PBA GOLD 17U

We saw this PBA Gold 17U team once already this summer at the Badger State Battle and we’re eager to get another look at a roster full of uncommitted talent. OF Remmi Sweet (Union Grove, 2022) helped his prospect stock tremendously after a strong spring season with the state-bound Union Grove. Sweet truly has game-changing speed, particularly on defense, and plays the game with a high-motor, consistently giving max effort in all facets. INF T.J. Williams (Racine Horlick, 2022) ran a 6.38 60-yard dash at The Rock a few weeks ago and continues to show well in games, as a scrappy, top-of-the-order type bat with savvy infield actions on the dirt. C Joseph Lagina (Freedom Project Academy, 2022) has plenty of bat strength inside his right-handed barrel, thanks to a strong 5-foot-11, 200-pound frame with a thick lower half. There’s plenty of upside attached to the loose 6-foot-2, 175-pound levers of left-handed hitting OF Luke Wenzel (Brookfield Central, 2022) and the same can be said for OF/RHP Ethan Clark (Lakes Community, 2022; IL), who’s a thin-levered 6-foot-2, 165-pound two-way prospect.

PRO PLAYER CANES GREEN ‘22

There’s some serious firepower nestled inside this PPC Green team’s pitching rotation; most of which are uncommitted. The lone name off the market is RHP Nathan Chapman (Jacobs, 2022) as the ace of the Golden Eagles committed to Eastern Illinois not too long ago. Representing the Badger State on this team is RHP Tyler Deleskiewicz (Badger, 2022), currently the top-ranked uncommitted arm in Wisconsin’s incoming senior class. A lanky, long-levered 6-foot-5, 210-pound right-hander, Deleskiewicz has been up to 92 mph in back-to-back showcases for us this summer and he’s also flashed tight swing-and-miss spin with his slider, too. Representing the Fox Valley Conference on this team are three power-armed right-handers: RHP Jameson Sheehan (Cary Grove, 2022), RHP Adam Guazzo (Huntley, 2022), and RHP Kyle Kaempf (McHenry, 2022). All three have been up to 88+ mph with their fastballs in our looks, with Sheehan bumping a 90.20 mph high at the McHenry Preseason I.D. this January.

The talent isn’t just on the mound for this Canes’ team, as their lineup is pretty deep from top to bottom. C Ryan Kelly (Huntley, 2022) had a monster season right in the middle of the Red Raiders’ lineup, routinely thumping baseballs into the gap with ease. Another backstop on this roster, C Nico Acevedo (Crystal Lake Central, 2022) stands at a strong, broad-shouldered 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame and can really do some damage from the right-handed batter’s box. OF Rick Powell (McHenry, 2022) is a quick-twitch left-handed hitter with easy bat speed and juice off his barrel. Left-handed hitting 1B Caleb Royer (Grant, 2022) is a 6-foot-4, 180-pound athlete with upside levers that can certainly stand to fill out as he continues to mature, potentially further enhancing his future offensive profile.

PRO PLAYER CANES ORANGE ‘22

This Orange squad is the second Pro Player Canes team we’ll see take the field this weekend. LHP Michael Vitellaro (Huntley, 2022) played an important role for the Red Raiders as one of their go-to relief arms throughout the season. INF Nick Model (Huntley, 2022) is a left-handed hitting infielder that’s also a Red Raider. There’s plenty of players from the coveted Fox Valley Conference on this team and we’re eager to get an up-close look at them in game throughout the weekend.

Michael Vitellaro

PTA CARDINAL

We’re expecting to see plenty of good things from this PTA Cardinal squad, a team littered with ranked uncommitted talent in the 2022 class. RHP Nate Snead (South Milwaukee, 2022) is the highest ranked name on this roster, currently slotted at No. 12 overall in the Badger State’s incoming senior class. A wiry, loose-armed 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete, Snead’s been up to 93 mph with his fastball in our looks, settling in anywhere between 88-92 mph on a game-to-game basis. Two high school teammates, RHP Benjamin Kasten (Whitnall, 2022) and LHP Taylor Kilps (Whitnall, 2022), team up with Snead for a three-headed monster perched atop this pitching staff. Kasten showed a much-improved arsenal at our Milwaukee Preseason I.D. this winter, as the 6-foot-3, 200-pound right-hander has been up to 88 mph with feel to land his breaking ball for strikes. As for Kilps, the former PBR Future Games participant has touched 90 mph in a showcase setting, bumping down into the 83-87 mph range as his starts roll on. Still, Kilps’ advanced arm speed and his wiry 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame have plenty of untapped potential.

Offensively for PTA, C/1B Ryan Santi (Oak Creek, 2022) balled out for the Knights this spring and showed what he’s capable of doing offensively as a middle-of-the-order left-handed bat. All three of INF Evan Iwinski (Franklin, 2022), CIF Keaton Arendt (Franklin, 2022), and OF Max Semancik (Franklin, 2022) played pivotal roles in the success that Franklin had this spring; a team we were extremely high on internally from a rankings perspective. 6-foot-4, 190-pound RHP/SS Parker Thompson (Wauwatosa East, 2022) is a potential two-way threat to watch, as he ran his fastball up to 85 mph at our Top Prospect - Milwaukee event and has shown well offensively in the past.

PTA WHITE

We got our first look at PTA White at the Badger State Battle earlier this month and both INF Cole Rodriguez (Oak Creek, 2022) and RHP Michael Zidanic (Marquette, 2022) emerged as follow names. Rodriguez is an athletic 6-foot, 180-pound with a strong barrel that plays gap-to-gap in games when he’s on time. Zidanic is a lanky 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-hander that sat 81-83 mph in his ‘pen at the Milwaukee Preseason I.D. and he landed a breaking ball for strikes, too.

Michael Zidanic (3/21/2021)

RAKE CITY - GOLD

Another team littered with upper-echelon talent, Rake City enters this weekend as a must-watch roster. They’re led by one of the top prospects in the entire country, RHP Owen Murphy (Riverside-Brookfield, 2022; Notre Dame). Murphy captured the PBR Illinois IHSA Player of the Year award after a dominant high school season and has made waves this summer, reaching 94 mph this past week in Georgia. He’s an incredible athlete with an impressive spin profile too, so the upside is rather immense. INF Estevan Moreno (Montini Catholic, 2022; Notre Dame) emerged as a huge winner from the PBR ProCase - Midwest, as the 6-foot-2, 200-pound infielder has a pretty unique skill-set; 6.58 speed with impressive thump and feel to elevate attached to his right-handed stroke.

There are several other high-end prospect follows on this team besides their nationally recognized duo. C Jackson Bessette (South Elgin, 2022) recently committed to UIC and 1B/OF Cooper Ohlson (Lyons Township, 2022) represented Team Illinois at the Future Games last summer. Left-handed hitting OF Blake Edmonds (Hinsdale Central, 2022) is a toolsy athlete still on the market. On the mound, Rake City will trot out six arms that have been 87+ with their fastballs in our looks: LHP Dominic Corgiat (Fenwick, 2022; Tarleton State), LHP Teddy Andrews (Hinsdale Central, 2022), RHP Matthew Cuzco (St. Ignatius, 2022), RHP Waylon Deck (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2022), and RHP Lucas Montesantos (Hinsdale Central, 2022).

Lucas Montesantos

RAKE CITY

The second Rake City team we’ll see this weekend features a roster mixed with players from the 2022 and 2023 class. C/3B Anthony Nino (Von Steuben) is ranked inside the Illinois’ 2022 class. Nino is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete with easy bat speed and an intentful right-handed stroke as he looks to do damage in the box. It’s a clean operation behind the plate with above-average arm strength to pair.

Anthony Nino

RHINO BASEBALL

Making the trip up from Shorewood, this Rhino Varney club has a handful of uncommitted names to watch throughout the tournament. RHP/INF David Zaragoza (Lockport, 2022) was up to 86 mph this past spring for Lockport, sitting at 83-85 mph with feel to spin a sharp breaking ball. Another Lockport Porter on this team is INF/RHP Mark Tor (2022), a proportionally strong 5-foot-11, 190-pound two-way follow. RHP Bryant Henderson (Normal West, 2022) is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound projectable arm that was in the low-80s with his fastball at an event this March and also spun a 2,500+ RPM slider in his 'pen.

RHINO WISCONSIN 17U

A few standout names popped from this Rhino Wisconsin 17U squad up in Mauston a few weeks ago, starting with LHP/1B Ethan Cole (Winnebago Lutheran, 2022). A physically built 6-foot-2, 200-pound left/left athlete, Cole was up to 83 mph on the bump at Badger State and complemented his fastball with a feel to bury a breaking ball below barrels, too. He showed some easy bat strength at the plate, juicing a few balls deep to his pull-side gap. Playing up a level, INF/RHP T.J. Hauser (Appleton East, 2023) fits right in with the older crew. He’s a projectable 6-foot, 160-pound athlete with a left-handed stroke that naturally elevates the baseball through contact. Hauser looks the part on the mound as well, pumping his fastball in the low-80s and spinning in a breaking ball that flashed sharp spin up at Woodside, too. Already committed, INF/RHP Jacob Melendrez (Little Chute, 2022; UW-Platteville) is a sure-handed up-the-middle defender that pitches, too.

SILVER SLUGGERS 17U

RHP/OF Tyler Schmitt (Madison Memorial, 2022) continues to climb up our prospect radar as a high-follow uncommitted name set to enter his senior year. A lanky, thin-levered 6-foot-2, 165-pound athlete, Schmitt works with extreme ease on the mound, touching 86 mph in front of our staff in the past, typically filling up the zone in the low-80s. He’ll land a breaking ball for strikes and he’s shown the ability to throw a changeup at arm speed in the past, too. INF Ryan Buschmann (DeForest, 2022) popped up as a follow name after a strong showing at the Kenosha Preseason I.D. and the 6-foot-1, 195-pound left-handed hitting infielder looked the part in the box at Badger State, too.

Tyler Schmitt (3/14/2021)

SLAMMERS-COYOTE 17U

Making the trip from the Libertyville area, Slammers - Coyote typically tends to bring a roster with plenty of talent up to The Rock. This year is no different, with a handful of uncommitted names worth monitoring throughout the weekend on this team. RHP Cade Nowik (Lake Forest, 2022) leads the bunch, as the 6-foot, 190-pound right-hander was up to 89 mph with his fastball at our Preseason All-State event in March. C Tristan Kerr (Lake Forest, 2022) showed well at that same event, barreling up a few loud balls into the gaps with a short right-handed stroke. Up the middle, INF Bryan Park (Stevenson, 2022) is a sure-handed defender that can really pick it in game. Left/left 1B Cole Collins (Libertyville, 2022) was amongst the event leaders in hard-hit data at the O’Hare Preseason I.D., juicing one up at 96.14 mph in BP, per TrackMan. OF Connor Dickson (Libertyville, 2022) and OF Leo Anderson (Lake Forest, 2022) are both tooled up athletes with upside that’ll roam the outfield grass for Slammers throughout the tournament.

Cade Nowik

STIKS ACADEMY BLACK 17U

This same STiKS Academy Black team captured our Badger State Battle title a few weeks ago and they’re back at The Rock, aiming for another championship to put under their belts. They’re led by one of the top all-around prospects in the state’s 2022 class: INF/RHP Rory Fox (Catholic Memorial, 2022; Notre Dame). A left-handed hitting shortstop with savvy infield actions and a fastball up to 92 mph, there’s not much that Fox can’t do on the baseball field. Captaining this crew behind the dish is C Charlie Jarvis (Catholic Memorial, 2022), a highly athletic, dual-sport star with potent gap-to-gap pop and a strong arm from the crouch. OF Carson Hansen (Pewaukee, 2022) has cemented himself as a high-follow uncommitted athlete with a powerful left-handed stroke and a physically imposing 6-foot-3, 205-pound frame. CIF Emiliano Ramos (Arrowhead, 2022) swung a hot bat all year for the Warhawks and has continued to hit throughout the summer, while INF Gabriel Richardson (Eau Claire North, 2022) is a physically imposing, broad-shouldered 6-foot, 180-pound athlete with one of the louder right-handed strokes in the class. Both OF/LHP Grant Beth (Catholic Memorial, 2022) and OF Landon Behringer (North fond du Lac, 2022) are speedster-type profiles that patrol the outfield for this team while traditionally hitting toward the top of the lineup.

Besides Fox, this STiKS Black team has plenty of talent in their rotation, too. RHP Thomas Harper (Wauwatosa East, 2022) recently committed to Illinois State and is as projectable as they come, standing at a lanky 6-foot-4, 195-pounds with present high-80s heat. RHP Gradin Taschner (Neenah, 2022) has professional bloodlines and also recently committed to Illinois State. He’s built at an ultra-physical 6-foot-3, 235-pound frame with an aggressive high-80s fastball that’ll trek up into the 90-91 mph range at times. From Oconomowoc, RHP Carter Tower (2022) has extremely lanky levers attached to a 6-foot-6, 180-pound frame. He pounds the lower half of the zone with a heavy fastball that generates plenty of groundballs and he’ll spin a breaking ball in for strikes, too. This will be our last look at this STiKS ‘22 class - one that’s certainly been memorable.

STIKS ACADEMY RED 17U

The second STiKS roster we’ll see this weekend, the Red squad has plenty of uncommitted talent capable of playing at the collegiate level. 1B Keegan Norton (Greendale, 2022) had a pretty impressive first season with the Panthers this spring, as the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Norton has plenty of present, and projectable, juice inside his left-handed barrel. RHP Braydon Cooper (Catholic Memorial, 2022) stands at a physical 6-foot-3, 200-pounds with advanced arm speed for his age and an explosive fastball, although he’s still fully developing feel for the zone. INF Michael Kleinhans (West Bend West, 2022) can really hit in game, while INF Fred Pierce Jr. (Brookfield East, 2022) juiced up multiple balls over 90 mph at the Top Prospect - Milwaukee event.

TOP TIER AMERICANS 17U

Simply put, this Top Tier Americans roster is stacked with high-level talent at each position, starting with OF Alex Stanwich (Lincoln-Way East, 2022; Tennessee) - the current top prospect in the Illinois’ 2022 class. CIF/OF Luke Adams (Hinsdale Central, 2022; Michigan State) is a major arrow-up name in his class, as one of the most physically imposing right-handed hitters in the entire Midwest; he barreled multiple balls at 95+ mph at our Midwest ProCase. INF Jack Scheri (La Salle - Peru, 2022; Creighton) sets the table at the top of this lineup with true 6.48 speed and 1B Daniel Pacella (Mundelein, 2022; Illinois State) swings one of the Midwest’s loudest left-handed bats. OF Josh Outlaw (Maine West, 2022) has top-of-the-order upside with a simple left-handed swing and high contact skills; and he was a Future Gamer last year, too. Two more outfielders, OF Evan Jones (Normal U-High, 2022) and OF Angelo Luna (St. Laurence, 2022), are both top-70 names in the Illinois’ ‘22 class that are still uncommitted. C Matthew Tarr (West Aurora, 2022) captains this team behind the plate, as a strong 6-foot-1, 200-pound backstop with advanced arm strength and high-end power in the box. Tarr can also get it done on the mound, bumping his fastball up to 87 mph at the Preseason All-State this past March.

Matthew Tarr

Recent Kent State commit RHP Alex Alberico (Providence Catholic, 2022) has long been a staple inside the state’s 2022 class, representing Team Illinois at the Future Games as an underclassmen with a fastball up to 91 mph this winter, too. RHP David Andolina (Oak Park - River Forest, 2022; LeHigh) has some juice on the mound, bumping an 89 mph high with his fastball last summer, settling in at 84-87 mph. From Indiana, RHP Brady Ginaven (Munster, 2022; Indiana State) and RHP Eric Santaguida (Crown Point, 2022) add more potency to this rotation, too.

TOP TIER NORTH 2022 (DUFFY)

Another Top Tier team set to make it up to The Rock this weekend, Top Tier North has plenty of talent on this team. Mizzou commit C Charlie Marisca (Grayslake Central, 2022) is a left-handed hitting backstop that’s ranked 35th overall in the Illinois’ 2022 class. SS/RHP James Vargas (Arrowhead, 2022; WI) represents the Badger State on this squad as a true two-way talent. He’s a quality right-handed hitter with sound infield actions, all while pumping three pitches for strikes on the mound - including a fastball up to 88 mph last weekend. 1B Haden Kriston (Loyola Academy, 2022) is a strong 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete with plenty of bat strength attached to his right-handed swing. On the mound, both RHP Michael Addari (Libertyville, 2022) and RHP Oliver Barkal (New Trier, 2022) are follow arms on the mound that are still uncommitted. Addari is a 6-foot-5, 210-pound athlete with long limbs, a mid-80s fastball, and a breaking ball that averages 2,450+ RPM. Barkal is cut from a different mold, standing at 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with advanced arm strength for his age, as he reached an 88 mph high on his fastball at the Joliet Preseason I.D.

TURN 2 ATHLETICS

Hailing from Eau Claire, the Turn 2 Athletics make another PBR appearance this summer after showing out at the Badger State Battle. There are a few follow names on this roster, headlined by OF Luke Erickson (Eau Claire Memorial, 2022), a 6-foot-1, 175-pound high-end athlete with a whippy left-handed stroke that works gap-to-gap. INF Cole Bakkum (Eau Claire North, 2022) had a strong spring season with the Huskies and RHP/OF Jalen Pascal (2022) is another follow name from Eau Claire North on this team. Built at a wiry 6-foot, 165-pound frame, Pascal touched 86 mph up at Badger State and again at Top Prospect - Milwaukee with whippy arm speed, all while spinning a slider at 2,500+ RPM, too.

WINDY CITY - BLACK

We’re not familiar with most of the names on this Windy City squad, as we haven’t seen them in a showcase setting or up-close in person. This weekend will serve as a first-class identifier for these players and we’re eager to get a look at what this roster has to offer.

WINDY CITY - HERBERT

Making their way to The Rock from Chicago, Windy City - Herbert has a competitive roster with mostly uncommitted names. C Filip Milatovic (Von Steuben, 2022) is a strong, muscle-bound 5-foot-10, 200-pound backstop with easy gap-to-gap juice and an arm that plays accurately to the bag. OF Hank Friedrich (Niles Notre Dame, 2022) hits from both sides of the plate and is a quick-twitch 5-foot-11, 175-pound athlete with 6.94 speed. INF Nick Lagges (Lane Tech, 2022) stays short to the baseball, while maintaining a line drive plane through contact, and is an athletic defender up the middle with an arm that plays true across the diamond. OF Jeremy Peddle (St. Ignatius, 2022) possesses an advanced run tool, as the 6-foot-1, 160-pound outfielder ran a 6.77 last month at the Fox River Open. 3B/RHP Ryan Kramer (Latin School of Chicago, 2022) stands at a physically mature 6-foot-1, 220-pound frame and is an advanced power threat in the middle of this lineup.
