Brock Gauthier, UTL, Bay Port 2026

Athletic frame with a strong lower half. Present physicality in the right handed batter’s box. Uses strong hands to manufacture bat speed with ease. Consistently found the barrel at MATC, knocking a pair of hits and a loud out.

BNBA RENEGADES

Beckett Weber, RHP, Bloomington (IL), 2026

Layten Gerdes, INF, Minonk (IL), 2026

Tall and skinny frame with athletic movements. From the right side, he has a tall setup in the box with active hands pre-pitch and uses a leg lift stride for timing. Consistently found barrels in his at-bats and hits the ball to all fields. Also shows discipline at the plate and the ability to not chase pitches out of the zone. Defensively, he is rangy for a 3rd baseman and has clean actions when fielding the ball paired with a strong arm to make throws across the diamond. Gerdes was 1-3 with an RBI double and a walk against GRB Rays MKE Green.

CANGELOSI SPARKS NORTH

Hayden Adamowicz, Hoffman Estates (IL), 2027

Built at a large 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame, Adamowicz emerged as a name to follow over the next few years. Playing up a year, Adamowicz sat 76-80 mph (T81 mph) with his fastball that he was effectively wild with. He also flashed feel for a 1/7 breaking ball. Adamowicz seems to be a step ahead of the rest of the people in his class, and despite being raw he is a name to know in Illinois’ 2027 class.

GRB RAYS MKE GREEN

FB produced swings and misses and sat 77-79 mph, T80. Showed a changeup that had downer action and out-pitch potential moving forward sitting 69-71 mph. Showed composure when faced with tough situations early against a good hitting BNBA Renegades lineup. Additionally, he had a double down the left field line for the Rays early in the game.

Colton Semmelmann, LHP, Brookfield Central, 2026

A lanky 5-foot-8, 145-pound southpaw that was impressive for this GRB Rays MKE squad. Semmelmann is an athletic mover on the mound with a loose, whippy arm. He ran his fastball up to 78 mph and sat anywhere from 75-77 mph that played with some arm side run. He coupled this with a big 1/7 breaker that produced many swings and misses. An impressive outing from a young southpaw in Wisconsin’s ‘26 class and Semmelmann will be a name to closely monitor as he starts his prep career.
