Eric Torres, Sussex Hamilton, 2018
Kansas State

Eric TorresFuture Games 2016 - 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, loose wiry frame. Pitches from a low ¾ slot, loose quick arm action, has arm speed to project and slot is deceptive, can be tough on left-handed hitters. Gets angle to his fastball and attacks hitters, pitching in to righties, slight arm side run, sits 81-83 mph, topped out at 85 mph. Breaking ball has frisbee action at 73-74, sweeps away from left-handed hitters.

 

Jason Abatto, 2B, Kettle Moraine, 2017
UW-Whitewater

Jason Abatto9/18/16 - 5-foot-8, 165-pound left-handed hitting second baseman with a small, strong frame. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a short leg lift stride. Line drive gap to gap hitter with a short swing path and strength in the hands. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.68 runner down the line. Went 2-3 in game with two doubles and two RBIs. Peppered the left centerfield gap in game. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top slot. Average hands and body control. Threw 75 mph across the infield.

Dylan Fluegel, SS, Oak Creek, 2017
Concordia (WI)

Dylan Fluegel10/2/16 - 5-foot-10, 175-pound two-way player, athletic shape with strength. Right-handed hitter, open stance, loads hands back, arm bar load, good balance. Showed barrel control in BP, squared up the baseball, line drive gap to gap type. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee. Doubled in game play. Defensively feet worked well, average hands, plays through the baseball. 7.6 runner in the 60. Arm action is short and over the top, flashed carry, 81 mph across the diamond. On the mound fastball was mostly straight, four seam type, 78-80 mph. Curveball has 12/6 shape, 66-68 mph. Also showed a knuckle ball at 68-70 mph.

Drew Johnson, 3B, Kimberly, 2017
Concordia (WI)

Drew Johnson10/2/16 - 5-foot-10, 195-pound, third baseman. Offensively, right-handed hitter, tall setup, deep load, toe tap stride. Showed bat speed and barrell control, slightly uphill path through the zone; exit velocity clocked at 88 mph. Defensively, reliable hands on the infield, clean exchange. Short, accurate arm from a high ¾ slot; throws clocked at 72 mph across the infield. 7.88 runner in the laser timed 60.

 

Drew Behling, 3B, Waupun, 2017
Rock Valley JC

Drew Behling10/2/16 - 6-foot, 195-pound third baseman, solid build. Left-handed hitter, open stance, strides back to square, balanced. Flashed pull side pop, path works around the baseball, looks to pull with authority, above average bat speed. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm plays short and loose, high ¾ slot, arm showed carry to play the left side, 84 mph across the diamond. Glove pat to release, reliable hands, showed ability to make all the routine plays, feet occasionally gets static. 7.69 runner in the 60.

Dylan Moser, OF, Homestead, 2017
Milwaukee Tech JC

Dylan Moser9/18/16 - 6-foot, 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder with a thin, lanky frame. Defensively has a short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Plays thru the ball with slower actions. Threw 73 mph from the outfield. At the plate hits from a wide base with an early load and no lower half. Level swing path. Showed strength thru contact with 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. 4.70 runner down the line.


Nick Gile, SS, Menomonee Falls, 2017
Madison College

Nick Gile5/7/16 - 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting shortstop with a strong frame. Put his name on the map at the event. At the plate hits from a balanced, open stance. Short stride back to even with a smooth load. Short, uphill swing path with a fast bat. Consistent hard contact in batting practice and showed strength thru contact with 95 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.15. Defensively plays fast with quick, fluid footwork. Plays thru the ball with athletic actions, clean transfer with soft hands. Has a loose arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Accurate throws with carry throwing 85 mph across the infield.
