Senior Games Milwaukee: Pitching Analysis

By Steve Nielsen
Scouting Supervisor - Wisconsin/Illinois

We wrap up our event positional analysis with pitchers. Several guys stood out and raised their stock. In particular, RHP Jonathan Dominguez (Catholic Memorial) showed off the tightest arsenal of the day. His fastball finished with arm side action and showed a swing and miss breaking ball, a 1-2 punch that could play in the back end of a bullpen right now. RHP Nathan Hefle (Germantown) showed good fastball velocity and improved command of the zone. Another Catholic Memorial right-handed, Andrew Stekiel had the most dominating outing of the day striking out six in two innings of action. His 12/6 curveball was his out pitch and showed a ton of depth.
