7/10/17 - Named to Team USA 18U trials roster.

6/29/17 - Had a hard single in the first and then launched a home run in the seventh inning.

6/28/17 - Showed off his defensive ability in center field, displaying excellent range. He covered ground to deep right-center field for a catch near the track and then raced over to left field for an out that looked like a routine catch for the left fielder.

4/23/17 -No. 1 ranked 2018. 6-foot-1, 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. Stands out on the field both physically and with play. Advanced strength and athleticism. Professional approach at the plate. Drives pitches to all fields, showed off plus power to the pull side with a towering home run in game. Consistently finds the barrel, sounds different coming off his bat. Defensively positions himself in the outfield, takes good routes, and shows off a plus arm. Got on the mound worked 88-91 mph with his fastball with heavy sinking action.

2017 Super 60 - Louisville recruit. 6-foot-1, 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder, advanced strength for age, rock-solid muscle with a defined lower half and proportional strength throughout. Currently ranked No. 1 in 2018 overall rankings, and only solidified his status with his stellar performance at the Super 60. As the only junior at the event, he was unequivocally the top prospect in attendance. A true five-tool prospect. Offensively, Kelenic has a balanced, compact swing with simple explosive strength, along with advanced rhythm and timing. His barrel awareness and presence in the box far exceeds his years. He shows power to all fields as he recorded a 102 exit velocity with wood. Defensively, he has plus arm strength and true carry on his throws. He was clocked at 91 mph from the outfield, with all of his throws seemingly accelerating as the ball neared the catcher. He kicked off his day by running a 6.61 laser-timed 60, fourth fastest at the event. And he did it all of the above with a substantial cut on his finger of his throwing hand.

9/2016 - Made USA 18U National Team.

7/7/16 - Louisville commit. No. 1 ranked prospect in the Wisconsin Class of 2018. 6-foot-1, 190-pound left-handed hitting OF/LHP with a strong, athletic frame. Dynamic two way talent, just named to the USA Baseball 18u 40-man roster. Had a monster tournament going 9-12 with five extra base hits. Elite level bat, hits from a crouched, balanced setup with fluid rhythm. Makes consistent hard contact with a good feel for the strike zone. Showed off a plus arm from the outfield with accuracy, shutting down two potential scoring opportunities with his arm. Came in relief for two innings for Hitters. In his first inning of work sat 92 mph with his fastball. Works from an over the top arm action with a lightning quick arm.

5/1/16 - Louisville commit. 6-foot-1, 190-pound left-handed two-way player. On the mound showed the best velocity we’ve seen from him. Delivery is slight tilt and topple, lower lifting balance position. Fastball touched 91 mph multiple times, sat 88-90 mph. Changeup is hard at 82 mph. Still raw stuff on the mound with big upside. Toolsy position player, roped a line drive up the middle in a tough left on left matchup against Spencer Van Scoyoc (Cedar Rapids Jefferson, IA, 2016).

4/10/16 - More know for talking about his left-handed bat and prowess in the outfield, two weeks in a row we’ve seen Kelenic sit 87-90  mph from the left side. Fast quick arm, lively fastball, athletic arm, raw pitcher should be athletic enough to make adjustments on the mound. Hard changeup at 80 mph. Raw abilities on the mound, doesn’t see a ton of innings but clearly shows some upside.

4/2/16 - Louisville commit. No. 1 ranked player in the Wisconsin Class of 2018. Well known for his exploits in the outfield and with the bat, impressed on the mound. Works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long, quick, clean arm action. Good balance and tempo thru delivery. Works in line with home plate with an athletic finish. Arm strength from the outfield translates on the mound working 88-90 mph with his fastball. Changeup showed running action at 78-79 mph, while maintaining fastball arm speed.

2/28/16 - Louisville commit. Currently ranked No. 5 in the PBR Overall Ranks. 6-foot-1, 185-pound left-handed hitting outfielder with a strong, athletic frame. Showed an elite level tool set at the event. Defensively has a long, loose arm action form an over the top slot. Accurate throws with life. Threw and event best 94 mph from the outfield. Athletic actions, playing thru the ball with soft hands and fluid footwork. Offensively has an advanced approach at the plate. Hits from a balanced setup with a short stride and good balance. Explosive batpseed with fluid rhythm. Showed strength thru contact with 97 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 6.78. High level national prospect, should be a good draft in 2018.

7/12/15 - 6-foot-1, 185-pound, left-handed hitting outfielder with an athletic frame. Currently ranked No. 1 in the Wisconsin Class of 2018. No. 5 in PBR Overall ranks.  Louisville commit. Offensively hits from a balanced, crouched stance. Consistently showed the ability to barrel up pitches. Strong thru contact. Short path with explosive bat speed. Went 1-2 in game with a double and two RBIs.

3/28/15 - 6-foot, 165-pound, left-handed hitting outfielder with a strong athletic build. High level athlete committed to Louisville. Already well known for his exploits in the field he took the mound for the first time in front of the PBR staff. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm slot with a long, loose arm action. Drop and drive delivery with smooth tempo and a square landing. Throws strikes working down in zone. Fastball sat 82-84 topping out at 86 mph with more in the tank. Threw changeup with downer action at 74 mph.

2/8/15 - Verbally committed to Louisville. 6-foot, 165-pound left-handed outfielder, athletic frame already shows lean strength, advanced build for his age. Left-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action, short stride, lower half works, excellent balance through contact. Athletic setup, looks “hitterish” in the box, has a presence. Easy bat speed, stays on top of the baseball, explosive bat speed for age, gets extension, gap to gap approach. 91 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed natural actions in the outfield. Proper footwork, plays through the baseball well, hands are soft, exchange is clean, high level defender. 6.90 runner in the 60, laser timed. Plus arm strength for age, 88 mph from the outfield, high ¾ arm slot, showed carry. Kelenic is a high follow in the 2018 and continues to be amongst the top prospects in the state.

12/9/14 - Verbally committed to Louisville in December of freshman year.

3/16/14 - 6-foot, 165-pound left handed outfielder, highly projectable athlete, huge ceiling. Youngest prospect in attendance, eighth grader, projects to be a high level prospect. Offensively hits from the left side, balanced stance, slightly crouched and narrower setup. Advanced bat speed for his age, highly aggressive swing, creates some natural lift, gets extension. Hands are loose, quick and athletic. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively is just as aggressive, attacks the baseball, quick footwork, works through the baseball well. Typical outfield arm action, long over the top slot, advanced arm strength for age, 82 mph from the crow hop, quick arm. Yet to enter high school Kelenic looks to be well on his way to being one of the top prospects in the state.
