The Hotlist: 2018s On The Rise

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

Last week, the 2018 Overall Rankings were updated with a new No. 1 in OF/LHP Connor Scott (Plant HS, FL). To take a closer look at the updated rankings, the latest Hotlist focuses on some 2018s that have stood out or risen this summer. They are listed alphabetically below and just one is currently committed.

Brock Anderson, LHP/OF, Alexandria, MN
Anderson stands at 6 feet, 190 pounds with physicality and bat speed from the left side of the plate. He takes a linear approach and shows the ability to square the ball up consistently. He has rhythm in confidence on defense. His arm works well and produces strong throws from the outfield. He pitches in the low to mid 80s and throws strikes. He has good connection in his delivery and is able to repeat while showing advanced feel for secondary stuff.
