The Hotlist: Uncomitted Seniors And Juniors

By Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

With the spring season underway for most of the country, Prep Baseball Report’s state directors highlight some prospects—seniors and juniors—that are still on the recruiting market and should get some attention this spring.

Thomas Bennett, SS, Western Hills HS, KY (2017)
Bennett has all the tools to remain at shortstop beyond the high school level. He moves fluidly and makes all plays easily while displaying soft hands and 86 mph arm strength across the infield. He was also impressive offensively at Kentucky's Preseason All-State event in taking one of the best rounds of BP at the event. He consistently makes hard, line-drive contact while showing good gap-to-gap power for his 5-foot-10, 165-pound frame. Bennett runs the 60 in 6.90 seconds and has registered a 92 mph exit velocity off the tee.
