Wisconsin Weighs In Heavily On The 2016 Overall Rankings

By Steve Nielsen
Scouting Supervisor – Wisconsin/Illinois

It’s been long publicized on our site that we felt like the 2016 class in Wisconsin was going to be one of the strongest classes we’ve seen from the Badger State. In this round of updates the list was expanded to 350 and includes seven new states including Tennessee, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Massachusetts and Ontario bringing the total to 19 states included in the rankings.

Just as we said with the 2015 overall rankings, with that many new states added the sheer number of new prospects added is bound to make most returning prospects drop in the rankings. But none the less Wisconsin’s 2016 class is stout enough to have a strong impact on the overall rankings.

In fact, Wisconsin ranked fifth amongst states with the most prospects in the overall rankings, another testament as to the strength of this class amongst out entire coverage area.
