Wisconsin Class of 2015 Rankings Updated

By Steve Nielsen
Scouting Supervisor – Wisconsin/Illinois

Here’s something to warm up this chilly spring day, updated 2015 player rankings. As the season approaches we will begin to roll out our state specific player rankings over the next month or so. Starting with the 2015 class, we’ve added several players expanding the rankings to 150 of the top prospects in Wisconsin.

Several shakeups included much of the top 10 as well five new prospects in the top 50. This time around the 2015 class is headlined by RHP Bryant Jordan, who has continually shown a low 90’s fastball that touches 92 and a hard swing and miss breaking ball. “Steady Eddy” Owen Miller comes in at No. 2, Miller’s game has never wavered since his freshman year and is now more physical than he’s ever been and swinging a high contact bat that is showing gap power.

Unsigned Senior Jake Sommers (Hortonville) is the top new prospect to the rankings. Sommers recently blew up at our Fox Cities Preseason I.D. touching 89 mph, with a hard curveball and athletic arm. Sommers drops into the top 20 in the state.

We’ll be bringing you more action from the updated 2015 rankings throughout the week featuring all of our new prospects and risers in the rankings.
