HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Jarred Kelenic, OF, Waukesha West HS, WI (Louisville)

Jacob Campbell, C, Janesville Craig HS, WI (Illinois)

OTHERS TO WATCH: 3B Alex Binelas (Oak Creek HS, WI) has a left-handed bat with the potential to hit in the middle of an order. He has above-average barrel control and big power coming out of his 6-foot-2, 210-pound frame. He also is an above-average runner. He currently sees most of his time at the hot corner, but could be a corner outfielder or move across the dirt to first base. Either way, his bat will play. Binelas is a Louisville recruit and young for his class. He’s likely a tough sign away from the Cardinals, but will figure prominently for them for three years and be talked about again in 2021. RHP Max Alba (Franklin HS, WI) is arguably the most natural athlete in the class. He already has an above average three-pitch repertoire, but still has a ways to go to reach his pro potential. His limited high school workload and three-sport athletic prowess, all favor his prospects of being a high draft out of North Carolina. RHP Tanner Kohlhepp (Eau Claire Memorial HS, WI) is as intriguing as it gets for pro scouts. He has a fresh arm with long, slender limbs and a plus slider to go with a fastball up to 92 mph. Kohlhepp is a lock to go to college, but could turn into a high pick out of Tennessee. C Jeff Holtz (Arrowhead HS, WI) is right-handed version of Binelas, a strong power bat with barrel control, who may move off of his primary position as a pro. Holtz’s bat is clearly above his defensive skill set behind the plate, but that’s not to say he won’t catch at Indiana. A late riser in draft discussions is RHP Elijah Campbell (South Milwaukee HS, WI). He put together some eye-opening appearances this spring in the Hitters Spring League and stands at an impressive 6-foot-5, 185 pounds with a fastball that can reach 90 and a 12/6 curveball with above average feel and spin.
