Senior Games: Statistical Analysis
September 25, 2018
On Sunday, Sept. 25, PBR hosted the Senior Games at Concordia University in Mequon, Wis. The event provided a platform for the area's top uncommitted seniors to showcase their skills in front of a handful of college coaches as well as the PBR Wisconsin and Illinois scouting staffs. The day started with a morning workout followed by one 10-inning game.
In true PBR fashion, the first portion of our event rollout is the statistical analysis.
Logan Mantz (Slinger) was the standout name topping two of the statistical leaderboards. He had one of the more complete all-around days with a 95 mph exit velocity as well as throwing 83 mph across the diamond.
LHP/1B Ryan Hubley (Marquette University) showcased the ability to be a legitimate two-way player moving into the college ranks. At 6-foot-4 185-pounds, Hubley finished third in the 60-yard dash (7.10), second in the highest fastball velocity (84 mph) and second in exit velocity (94 mph).
Physical/strong corner infielder Ben Siekierski (Mukwonago) tied with Hubley for the second highest exit velocity (94 mph) and also saw his name in the top infield velocity ranks (81 mph).
