Underclass Trials: Statistical Analysis

The Wisconsin Underclass Trials took place on Wednesday, June 20 at The Rock Sports Complex in Franklin, WI. Attendees from Wisconsin and Illinois participated in a pro-style workout that included positional workouts and velocities, the 60-yard dash and live batting practice. Below we list the top performers from Wednesday's event.

Isaac Engelbrecht, who sat near the top of several leader boards narrowly edges Michael Lippe for the 60-yard dash lead. Anthony Vivian, Austin Bestul and Jack Leverenz also make their first of multiple appearances.

TOP FASTBALL VELOCITY
A pair of two-way prospects led the way on the mound. Engelbrecht and Danny Perdzock posted an 83-mph heater, while Charlie Campbell and Andrew Brockwell follow closely behind hurling 82s.

Four exit velos reached and surpassed the 90 mark. Vivian led the charge displaying the highest of the leaders with 93. Leverenz, Lippe and Engelbrecht follow trailing one mile an hour from the previous.

The 2021 class showed well during infield workouts as all six registered the highest velos. Bestul and Engelbrecht continued their strong showing leading yet another leaderboard. A pair knotted at 79 and 78 close out infielders.
