EVENT HISTORY
We've been hosting this event for the past eight years, and it's consistently provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games.
Last year, we saw prospects such as 3B/1B Macay Wagner (Slinger, 2025; Bryant & Stratton), C/OF Gavin Coughlin (Academy of Holy Angels, 2026), RHP Brody Schulte (Westosha Central, 2025; Minnesota State University-Mankato), SS/2B Charlie Dietz (Westosha Central, 2025; Bryant & Stratton), 3B/RHP Benjamin Smet-Cooper (Westosha Central, 2028), RHP/2B Jacob Wineman (New Trier, 2026), 2B/OF Patrick Davidson (St Joseph Catholic, 2027), OF/2B Evan Northup (Union Grove, 2027), SS/RHP London Stanley (Tremper, 2026), SS/3B Evan Leafblad (Westosha Central, 2025).
We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.
2025 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
OF/RHP Zachary Collins (Grant, Illinois; 2026) displays an athletic, projectable frame at 6'0" and 152 pounds. At the plate, he shows a flat swing path, rotating through impact with loose hands, making it look easy as he works back up the middle of the field. In the field, he has active feet, plays with pace, gets behind the baseball, and demonstrates a directional release. His arm action is long and loose, with impressive arm speed out front.
RHP/3B TJ Rodriguez (Grayslake Central, Illinois; 2026) stands at an athletic, well-proportioned, and projectable 6'0" and 176 pounds. On the mound, he stands tall with a loose arm, throwing from a low ¾ slot. His fastball features heavy spin, exceeding 2400 rpm. At the plate, he is short to the ball with an uphill swing path, looking to elevate to the pull side.
Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a Prep Baseball showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
