Prep Baseball Wisconsin Best of 2024: Top Average Bat Speed

With our 2025 event calendar on the horizon, our staff has dedicated some time to reflect on the top statistical performers that we saw at our events in 2024. We'll be shining some light on Illinois natives who put up loud numbers in 2024, showcasing their tools to our staff at Prep Baseball Wisconsin events.
These leaderboards were compiled solely based on numbers at our state events, including Super 60, Preseason IDs, All-States, Open events, Scout Days, Future Games, and the All-American Game, too.

This week, we rolled out top sweet spot percentage and average hand speed. Today we will look into the Top Average Bat Speed from 2024.
By the numbers breakdown:
- 28 prospects had an average bat speed over 75 mph across three grad classes.
- 13 2025 prospects had an average bat speed over 75 mph.
- 11 2026 prospects had an average bat speed over 75 mph.
- 7 2027 prospects had an average bat speed over 72 mph.
