At the end of each calendar year, the Prep Baseball Wisconsin Staff highlights the 10 most viewed profiles of 2024 in the state of Wisconsin. Today, we’ll be continuing our way up to the top spot with No. 5 and unveiling the No. 1 most viewed profile Dec. 30.

Ranking at No. 5 in the most-viewed profiles of 2024 is INF/RHP Cal Moreau (Monona Grove, 2026; UCF commit.
Moreau has been a staple at the top of the 2026 since it's inception. This past year Moreau has separated himself as a top talent in the state regardless of class and inserted himself on the national stage. Moreau was a big winner at the 2024 Prep Baseball Future Games, showing a high ceiling not only as an up-the-middle defender but as a high-level arm as well.
Following the numerous standout perfromances across the year, Moreau annouced his commitment to Central Florida, and will not look to lead a stout Monona Grove team this upcoming spring.

Uncommitted. Moreau excelled in his sophomore season, competing and dominating some of his opponents as an underclassman. It started at the plate for the No. 3 ranked player in Wisconsin’s talented 2026 class, as Moreau hit .411 with nine doubles and four home runs—showcasing easy, consistent power and bat-to-ball contact in the batters box. Moreau was a staple at the top of the lineup in a talented Monona Grove program, in addition to taking on a key pitching role for the Silver Eagles. The right-hander was a flawless 6-0 with an impressive 0.83 ERA, speaking to his success on the mound as an upside athlete. Moreau only allowed six earned runs against quality competition all season—popping at The Rock early on in the spring as an elite arm on the bump. The sophomore did it all in Monona Grove’s successful 2024 campaign, as he will be primed for an intriguing summer as Wisconsin’s top uncommitted prospect in the 2026 class.

Moreau sits at the No. 3 spot in Wisconsin for their ‘26 Class Player Rankings. Later, during his final at-bat would shoot a laser through the left side for a single. Uber athletic prospect who is listed at 6-foot-3, 175-pounds and served in the leadoff spot for the Silver Eagles offense. 6.61 runner that can glide around the bases with ease. Fun player to watch.
