Listed at 6-foot, 140 pounds, Achen impressed on the mound showing feel for three pitches. His fastball sat between 77 and 79 mph with some late life. His best pitch was his change-up as he threw it with fastball arm speed giving it good depth. He also filled up the zone with his breaking ball that had slider type movement. At the plate he sprayed the ball around to all fields with a simple approach, could develop more power when his frame fills out.
