Had short swing plane, efficient bat speed and high finish. Found a couple of barrels in his round. Up the middle approach. Barrett's best exit velocity was 81 mph. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 83 mph; showed rhythmic feet and sure hands. Had consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot. On the mound, has a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Uses some effort in his delivery. Produced a fastball that came in at 71-72 mph and topped out at 73 mph; shows very consistent command and running action with heavy movement. He threw a 12/6 curveball (61-62)
