While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 80 mph; shows a natural exchange, smooth feet, and twitchy hands. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. Displayed speed and athleticism at the event, recording a 60 time of 6.89.
6-foot, 150-pound athletic frame. In the box, Hammonds clocked an exit velocity of 83 mph. Sets up an athletic stance. Had some bat speed, level swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels in his rounds. Base hit approach. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; has a clean exchange and soft hands. Had a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.06.
