Wesley Campbell: 3B/RHP, (2023) Fountain Lake, AR. 5-foot-11, 220-pound physical sturdy build. Projectable confident during batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 92 mph. (73.22 mph bat speed average). (20.09 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a long leg kick. Bat speed is above average efficient, has a short upward swing plane and high back foot finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Up the middle aggressive approach. Capable fluid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 79 mph; has sure consistent hands, a clean natural exchange, and fluid in control feet. Movements laterally were average developing and he fields the ball out front. Used uninterrupted slot with a short consistent arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a 60 time of 8.3 at the event. Solid projectable on the mound, using a short compact arm action he showed quick above average arm speed from a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. He has even in line shoulders and a low athletic balance point. Lands closed and hard with an athletic falling off finish. Threw his fastball 75-78 mph; showed running sinking action and command arm side down in the zone with heavy movement. (Max spin 2088; Avg 2013). Showed glove side in the zone control and sweeping deceiving action on his 10/4 slider (66-67). (Max spin 2154; Avg 2135).
