Uses a direct stride to the pitcher, small hip slide during stride. Eliminating the hip slide will allow him to stay in his legs better to impact the ball more. Leads with the knob of the bat to the baseball, gets slightly uphill. High rate of hard line drive contact, 54% on the day. Best contact was to the middle.

Short stride that brings position back square to pitcher. Majority weight on the back side, would benefit from more of a weight transfer to the front side, allowing more extension through the ball. Bat path is short and direct, comes around the ball at times when catching ball out front due to body positioning. When he lets the ball get deep it is driven well to the middle part of the field with back spin flight.
