This was the first time we have seen McEntire since last fall, he didn't play as much this summer with the given health situation. We were able to check him out playing for AZBC this past weekend at Rockies Invite. He looks noticeably stronger in his large 6-foot-1 185-pound frame with good balanced strength throughout his body. We have seen McEntire primarily catch in the past where he has shown above average ability but he shows plenty of versatility, playing more OF as of late. In fact, we saw him get a good jump on ball with a quick first step during the weekend making a diving catch in LCF. McEntire's bat is always a big part of his game that stands out. Currently, shows as one to top hitters in the AZ 2023 class. His strength & athleticism gives him natural pop to all fields with power potential in the future.
