6-foot-3 170-pounds, athletic body, long legs, high waisted, above average athleticism, some projectability. Athletic squared setup, leaning slightly on back leg. Hands start shoulder height with slight load. Uses a pick up with some forward movement. Good bat & hand speed for age with some power potential. Accelerates barrel onto swing plane slower due to slot. 91mph exit velocity with pop to CF. Opposite field approach. Long athletic footwork, showed quickness when he needed to. Usable hands with rawness to glove action. Short quick arm action across the diamond with 82mph arm strength.
6/12/19
6’3 155-pound projectable frame. Quiet set up. Wide, square base rocking into ack side before striding to stay square. Sinks into legs are he starts his forward move. Works into zone early, doing a good job with torso adjusting to pitches up and down. Exit velo at 80 MPH. Active feet in the infield and solid actions. Uses momentum well to field the baseball and use it for his 81 MPH throws across the diamond. Uses glove pat to stay in rhythm with his feet.
12/10/17 - 6-foot, 130-pound frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength/mass. Long torso. Uses toe-tap trigger with deep hand load to create flat bat path. Made line drive contact in his round of BP; 76 mph exit velocity. Lower half mechanics are inconsistent, mostly due to lack of present strength. Showed well on the infield, playing low, working through the baseball with some softness in his hands and 73 mph infield velocity. 7.89 60-yard dash.
