Positional Profile: C/3B Switch hitting C with defense as strong point.
Body: 5-10, 170-pounds. Stocky build.
Hit: SH. Natural RHH. Sets up with a wider base and a slight bend in the knees. Bat is held in tight to the ear laying flat. Uses a short and direct stride to the pitcher. Hits off his back side from the left handed box. Swing is flat but lacks extension due to weight on back side. More loose from the right handed box. RH being his natural side, it is more of an athletic movement. Swing is downhill.
Power: 87.4 max exit velocity, averaged 66.6 mph. 262’ max distance. Gets to the top half well and when balls are on a line they have backspin flight.
Arm: RH. C - 66 mph. Short arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Ball has some 2 seam flight, with better footwork arm would see improvement. Struggles to get back to a strong closed position to throw from.
Defense: 2.2-2.5 pop times. Hard worker behind the dish. Received and blocked balls well in bullpens. Catch and throw needs improvement.
Run: 7.88 runner in the 60. Runs slightly hunched over.
