Tarnowski is a speedy outfielder who showed his athleticism well throughout the day. He showed clean routes to the ball in the outfield, a good transfer into his crow hop, and a serviceable arm that got good carry on all this throws. Projects as a corner outfielder right now, but he could slide over into CF with added speed to his game. The left-handed-hitting Tarnowski showed an athletic swing at the plate, loading knee to knee and controlling his move well. Bat path came through the hitting zone on plane and produced some hard line drives, but he will benefit from getting to a more consistent spot when loading his hands and utilizing his legs better. Overall, Tarnowski's athleticism in the outfield will be his calling card, and is only a couple of adjustments way from being a top of the order type bat.
