The 2026 is one of the top arms in the country despite being one of the youngest arms on the Junior National Team. Duncan showed us why with his pitchability and knack for locating all 3 of his pitches for strikes. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound LHP has a clean, loose arm, running the fastball up to 91 mph. The curveball has two-plane break creating OZ swing & miss and locating it in the zone early in counts to get ahead. The changeup has late fading action that he pairs well with the fastball, locating it down in the zone. The swing & miss he generated from all 3 pitches against pro hitters was very impressive. The Blaze product has a bright future ahead.

2026 LHP Sean Duncan continues to show he’s one of the top underclass arms in the country. Projectable, athletic look at 6-foot, 155-pounds with clean actions and some bounce on the mound. Punched out five through his first three innings of work and was heavy with the fastball early on, sitting 84-87mph and getting plenty of swing/miss on the pitch. Began working in the offspeed as the game went on with a breaking ball at 66-67 that had shape and feel, along with a changeup at 78mph. Worked 5 innings, allowing three hits, one earned run, two walks and four punchouts. Duncan was one of the main attractions on Day One in Kamloops and lived up to the hype with a dominant performance, cruising the Langley Blaze to their first win of the tournament.

Uncommitted 2026 LHP Sean Duncan went up against pro hitters for the first time and was unfazed. Attacked with the FB that sat 85-87 on the corners with conviction. He paired a fading CH with a 2-plane breaking ball that he was able to get swing and misses. It’s XL fluid and clean in his delivery with a ton of confidence. His final line was 2IP, 3 K’s, 1 H, 0 BB. Duncan might be the best 2026 player in the country and he proved why today against minor league Mariners hitters.
