1/5/19- SoCal Preseason All-State (fielding) - Pulido was arguably the top first baseman at the event after showing off his athleticism around the bag. His footwork is excellent and his ability to read hops was uncanny. Has quick hands that allow for quick/clean transfers with enough present arm strength to make accurate, strong throws across the diamond. Turned the double play ball easily and routinely. At the plate he put on a display of power often driving balls to the wall and occasionally over it. Has present bat speed that allows him to get the barrel on balls on the inner half with ease. Power really projects for consistent future over-the-fence power.

1/5/19- SoCal Preseason All-State (pitching) - 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, two-way player with a strong athletic build. Starts from the third base side of the rubber, steps back creating a long leg kick and momentum towards home plate. Keeps hand high throughout the process, arm is smooth but lacks arm speed. Landing zone is across body, which resulted in inconsistent command and inability to locate on the glove side of the plate. Effort was easy and had good rhythm pitch-to-pitch. Both off-speed pitches lacked command and consistency but flashed potential. Increasing arm speed and elimination of the across body landing could correct inconsistencies and create opportunity for a sharp velocity increase.

1/5/19 - SoCal Preseason All-State Quick Hits - Pulido, the 46th ranked player in his class in the state and a San Diego State commit showed why his left-handed bat has the makings of being one of the more special bats in his class. Registered a 102 mph exit velocity while driving balls to both gaps and bouncing a few off the wall and two over it. At 5-foot-11, 190-pounds, Pulido shows high level athleticism around the bag at first base where he is a sure handed receiver with range to both sides. He just started pitching recently and shows some aptitude on the mound with feel for three pitches, something to monitor as he moves forward.
