Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Big burly body on sizeable 6-foot-2 205-lb frame, there is some pitchability with a traditional three pitch mix (FB/CB/CHG), FB peaked at 82 mph and sat 77-81, spin maxed at 2056 and the nice horizontal movement patterns both indicate that he can work to develop his fastball into more of a sinker that lives down and fades late, CB spin maxed at 1941 which is a number that can go up to get more bite vs smooth action, there is some two plane movement that can get some hitters to expand the zone, CHG with big reduction of spin off the FB look, down to 1202 spin which tells the tale of a heavy CHG that can get ground balls.
Positional Profile: RHP
Physical: 6-2, 225-pounds; Broad shouldered, full build.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride while landing closed. Moderate arm swing while demonstrating segmented stop and go action; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 80-81 MPH; arm side run. CB: 64-67 MPH; lands for strikes. SL: 67-69 MPH; slurve like. CH: 73-74 MPH; maintains same plain. Strike thrower with feel of his repertoire, all four pitches from same release height, given his consistent control if the raw stuff comes along he's one to keep an eye on.
