9/11/21

Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 5-11, 140-pounds. Lean build, lithe proportions.
Delivery: Closed upright position from windup helps him to have a short and quick step back and his up into his leg kick. His rotation is very late, and has good hip and shoulder separation.
Arm Action: LH.  Really gets out over his front and releases the ball well in front of his front foot. Delivery is quick which makes his upper half rotation very late, can be sneaky-quick especially as he develops strength and size.
FB: T79, 76-78 mph. Natural late arm side run. Works downhill and commands the bottom half of the zone.
CB: 66-69 mph. 2135 average spin rate to go with a 12/6 action. Can locate for strikes and use it for a put away pitch.
CH: 70-73 mph. He throws his change with confidence and some aggressiveness. Good extension out front with an average of 6.66. Mimics his fastball arm side run.

7/11/21

Delivery: WIth a slight open stance from stretch, Adrian has a quick move to leg kick.  Hands move with leg kick for timing and deception.  Once the heel is moving towards the catcher, hands break to a short arm position.  Short over the top delivery to plate.  Lands balanced and in control
FB: Fastball max out at 79 mph, with every fast ball having that left handed pitcher movement.  Down in the zone with each fastball.
CB: With his short arm action, he is able to get on top of his curveball and have good rotation and depth.  Throws it for a strike and in any count.
CH: Deception was key for the change-up.  Adrian was able to keep it in the same tunnel as the fastball.  With a speed differential of 8-9mph and lat drop, hitters struggled with the change up

10/10/20

Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 5-8, 125-pounds. Athletic build, lean wiry strength, well-proportioned.
Delivery: Quiet hands, easy lift, leaves rubber by gliding down the slope, smooth rhythm, lands in-line w/slight drift through plant leg.
Arm Action: LH. Quick easy arm, classic overhand LHP arm action, two part backside, arm stroke keeps up with lower half.
FB: T78, 73-76 mph. Plays quicker than velo due to extension, considerable arm side movement, holds plane, spin projects sizeable velo gains as he physically matures.
CB: 63-67 mph. Feel of this pitch, flashed late backfoot (RHH) type break, presents more like a SL, spins well, makings of abv avg breaking ball.
CH: 69-71 mph. Outstanding feel in this look, run away from RHH, depth through zone, enough spin off the FB look to draw soft contact.

Arm: LH - 76 OF - Clean quick arm action, chance to develop well above 80 mph
