BAWS 2019 - High waist with length in the lower half and square shoulders; some strength in the upper half of a projectable frame. Hands start at chin away from the body staying through step and high front knee showing good posture and internal leg drive as hands break cleanly around front knee. Quick, compact arm with athletic ability in his hips and stretch from his chest; creates late arm speed a tight 3/4 release. When mechanics are in sync, the ball will jump on hitters with late life and actions at the plate; second inning saw him being more of a thrower than a pitcher with control taking a step back. Showed his skills picking up 5 K’s in two innings of work with the only runner reaching on a 1st pitch drag bunt. FB 82-84 T85 with riding life arm side and some cut especially in the 2nd inning. CB 75-77 hard and short with tight spin; flashed late bite for swing and miss with the pitch showing feel into and out of the zone in 1/7 shape. Projectable frame and live arm with two pitches that could still keep growing.
