11/10/2018 - California Senior Games - 6-foot, 175-pounds. Has a young, strong, athletic frame. Registered a 7.35 60-yard dash. At the plate is very consistent with an athletic setup, smooth load with a shorter stride. Has quick hands, as he sprays the ball all over the field. Has a short compact swing with good feel at the plate hitting with excellent pitch recognition. From the outfield he shows a loose arm action, throwing from a 3/4 arm angle. He makes accurate throws with some carry. Does an excellent job of using his lower half when approaching the ball and gathering out front. Shows good footwork and makes clean exchanges with minimal wasted time/energy in doing so.

8/1/18 - Perez has some physicality to his game in the outfield where he shows good footwork and routes to the ball and seeing the ball into the glove. His exchanges are clean and throws are accurate with some carry. At the plate he stays middle with a short load and consistent approach resulting in line drive up the box.

8/1/18 - (Pitching) Six-foot, 170-pounds, high waisted, long limbs, square shoulders with wiry strength through the frame. Long arm action with a hitch in the back causing him to guide the ball to target with a bit of a dart throwing action. Starts tall then drops-and-drives through delivery down the mound landing square to target with an abbreviated finish. Fastball is flat with command to each side of the plate. Curveball shows sweeping action with 10/4 shape and late break. Tends to slow arm on the pitch but really snaps it off. Changeup shows some sinking action from the same arm speed and slot.
