Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Those who've seen him a lot understand that he routinely barrels balls gap to gap. Hit a HR at BAWS-games (LF), aggressive finish w/barrel. Grinder defensive player who performs better than the raw mechanics look, tough nosed kid, profiles best to 3B/2B. Loved teammate.

NorCal Preseason All-State: Ramocinski has made really nice strength adds to the frame and it’s allowed him to have better top end speed since last season’s NorCal Preseason All-State. The high back elbow/high hands setup get the barrel on plane deep in the swing and that allowed Ramocinski to have easy lift with the hands staying tight and releasing out front; stuck to the middle of the field and pull gap with hard line drives showing solid bat-to-ball skills (88 EV). On defense he plays with more burst than overall speed showing easy actions especially to the gloveside where he made a nice play. The glove is soft and can react to the baseball before allowing his compact arm to keep it on the bag (82 INF). Another big season/summer could see him jumping up lists.

Fall tournament - Uncommitted; A player we've seen numerous times and always seem to leave with a favorable impression, Ramocinski has shown time and time again that he's a player who deserves attention from the college game. He does have some tools that stand out, in particular HEAVY hitting hands and the ability to impact the game offensively. He's also got that 'it' type factor as a player that give you the feeling that he's a winning-type player. Ramocinski has palpable presence in the batters box and when he got a fastball to his liking, he repeatedly pounded it from center to right field. The ball jumps off his bat and from this look it would appear that he has very strong hands and generates bat speed THROUGH contact, spending his energy (created with his hips) at the right time. Defensively he's got an arm that can play at any infield spot, with range and footspeed that fits best down the road at 3rd base, though with his instincts he could play a very competent 2nd base.

1/27/19

PBR N CA Preseason All-State - Long, medium frame with length through torso; lean muscle in body with room for more growth. Short, choppy steps with inline stride (7.85 60-yd). Crouched stance shows balance with even hands and high back elbow; lifts bat off shoulder transferring weight into back hip with slight front leg lift and hands moving back. Level swing with average hand speed; created hard contact with liners going gap-to-gap (83 exit velo). Keeps feet underneath him well and shows strong ability to get hips low and glove out in front; plays through the ball and has quick transitions to throwing arm. Short and compact with a high release (78 MPH).

8/25/18

PBR N California Underclass Games - 5-foot-9, 150-pounds, lean athletic body type, wiry strength. Aggressive player, showed interesting bat talent, balanced swing with good aggressive move to and through contact, strong hands with good barrel awareness and finish to swing, capable of driving the ball in middle of the field, aggressive approach and wants to hit. Has some gap type power and as he gains size and strength it should show up in game competition. Defensively one of the better infielders. Quick yet efficient footwork, aggressive to the ball yet under control, plays low to and through the ball, good arm, can play on the move, quite a bit to like with his defense and he looked capable of playing shortstop. All tools show up with potential to be positives in the game, well-rounded talents and his style of play combined with his talents make him a 2021 to be aware of.

6/03/18

6/1/18-6/3/18 at BAWS 2018 - Lean young athletic body at 5-foot-9 150-pounds. Open balanced stance with bat tap during load. Narrow feet in stance and has a natural upward path of the barrel; ability to drive ball into pull gap. Compact average arm with accuracy from shortstop; average range with ability to improve as ages. Quick feet and on the way speed a bit better than he went down the line.
