Physical: 6-0, 185 pounds; Average, proportional build. 7.26 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 90.00 MPH via Trackman. Pullside oriented, rotationally driven, line drive approach.. Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 82.00 MPH. Moves well laterally and towards the ball, stays low to the ground, gets rid of the ball quickly. Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 80-81 MPH; straight action. SL: 68-70 MPH; late action . CH: 68-70 MPH; fading action. Good feel for pitching, changeup showing fade and sinking action, consistent pitch-to-pitch.

Defense: Feel for the position, flashed some fancy glovework, solid backhand. Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Quality arm that displayed some strength. Showed that he can stay a switch hitter at the next level. Above-average connection score coupled with his above-average rotational acceleration score give him a high ceiling and projectable swing. Power: 90 mph exit velocity. Run: 7.24 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Standard delivery, over-the-top release point, lower half engaged. Arm Action: RH. Consistent arm action, stamina in the arm, more to come. FB: T81, 78-80 mph. Able to locate, some arm-side-run, adding a two-seam would benefit. CB: 67-72 mph. Tight curveball, same release point as fastball, best offspeed offering.
CH: 71-74 mph. Developmental pitch, in need of greater speed differential than fastball, showed fade.

PBR CA STATE GAMES - Long frame with strong lower half projects well with more growth. Gradual load matched with toe tap at the plate allows bat to start momentum on upward path through the zone. Solid AB’s throughout the weekend without much to show from it. Gets out of the box well with good actions once underway (4.79-4.87). Started off the weekend on the hill going two innings, walking two and striking out one. Deliberate on the hill having full down/up motion with athletic controlled front leg showing good finish over his firm front side. FB 73-75 showed angle to both sides and ability to run up through the zone. CB 67-69 12/5 shape with late actions; showed small depth and ability to use in any count. CHG 67 flashing run with early bottom. Projectable on the hill with three pitch mix.
1/5/2019 - SoCal Preseason All State (outfield) - 5-foot-11, 146-pounds. Has a lean frame, is young and athletic, will add size with maturity. Started the day running a 7.67 60-yard dash. At the plate he operates from a open stance, with a glide keeping weight on back leg. Is a pull hitter, does drop at times, but also has a smooth left-handed swing. From the outfield hit 75 mph on the gun for outfield velo. Has a longer motion, ¾ arm angle, makes accurate throws with carry on the ball. Shows average hands, fluid footwork and a clean exchange. Stays behind the ball nicely and shows good athleticism.
1/5/19- SoCal Preseason All-State (pitching) - 5-foot-11, 146 pounds, slim, athletic build, plenty of room for growth and strength. Fluid mechanics, average arm speed, good balance and feel. Releases ball from a high three-quarter arm slot, drops and drives to create momentum towards home plate, inconsistent finish. Keeps head on line with catcher but falls towards the first base side lapses in command. Slight stab in the back arm circle hinders mechanics. Both curveball and change-up are released from the same slot as the fastball. Curveball broke at a gradual pace and at a drastic velocity difference from fastball. Change-up showed to closely to the fastball. Off-speed development coupled with his fluid mechanics project well down the line.
9/23/18 - Rising Stars Prospect - Five-foot-10, 140-pounds, medium frame with squared shoulders and wiry strength throughout. Large feet and limbs with large hands. Projectable pitcher that flashes command of three pitches that he threw for strikes. Quick arm through to a high ¾ from a full path in the back. Fastball shows run back to the glove side giving it some cut action. Curveball was the best of the day with it's 12/6 movement and late, sharp, downer breaking action. Shows feel for the changeup with run back to the arm side. All pitches are from same slot and arm speed. Shows good arm separation and while delivery is slow the arm whip is loose. At the plate he shows feel for the barrel and consistently drove balls to the gaps from a middle approach. Setup is balanced with a leg kick trigger and a short stride. Does a fair job of incorporating lower half with a balanced finish. Defensively he showed soft hands with fluid footwork and fair range to both sides. Arm got a little long on him, but throws were accurate with some carry. He played through balls athletically with good body control. Fundamentally strong in all facets of the game.
