Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Physical body with strong athletic proportionality, BP round gave glimpse of the raw power that a scout would then hope/expect to see in game play and that did in fact happen, went 2-for-6 (2B, 3B, L6, 2 K) with all field extra base hit-ability, OF top throw was 86 mph, ran 7.43 60-yd, the arm is obviously plenty strong enough to project well in LF and the bat profiles as a corner bat at the college level as well, EV maxed at 95 though we've seen 97 before at PBR showcase, heavy hard hit and sweet spot % (70% for both metrics), 60% line drives in BP, both the bat speed and hand speed are outstanding as evidenced by metrics gathered at a PBR event (25.8 hand speed and 75.4 bat speed).
1/30/22
Positional Profile: OF Physical: 6-2, 190-pounds; Physical, broad shouldered build. 7.47 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; flat bat moving to upright position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a finish around the back. More fly balls than line drives and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 96 MPH via Trackman. Punishing contact, hands work cleanly through the ball, able to drive ball to all fields with power, consistent hard barrel contact. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a high-3/4 arm slot. OF - 76 MPH. Clean angles, smooth quick transfer from glove to hand, accurate around bag, reads ball early and coordinates footwork well.
